It would be a shame if we were to let him go before giving him a real chance, you just know if he goes to Peterborough they'll throw him straight in and he will be a revelation. Might free up a bit of cash to buy another journeyman clogger, sorry experienced championship player.

It would be insane to let Lolley go, even on a short term loan, especially if we don't have replacements already in place.

If he's allowed to leave or go out on loan, its a bloody joke, the squad is looking light enough on the attacking front as it is. To be honest the poor lad can't get a look in, as yesterday shows.

Click bait from the Examiner following overreaction (mainly from a certain non-league poster) on here.
Read the article, not a semblence of fact in there.. 'might' 'could' 'may have', and my personal favourite 'is understood to'.
Pure wank from Mel Booth, shameful hack.

If he goes, it will be interesting to see what happens with him. I bet he becomes a star. Mind you, I think that a number of fans will be incandescent (2nd time I've used that word on this forum today) with rage.

If it's on loan to a L1 club then I'd say go for it. In an ideal world Powell would come to his senses and play him but that won't happen so a loan spell to prove his worth would be good for everyone.

Would have brought him on when Wells went off and gone 4-3-3 alongside Scannell & Vaughan. But hindsight and all that.

Could be argued that the three in midfield has been the basis of our excellent recent wins to games ratio Personally I wouldn't have started with Lolley but he would have replaced Edgar after 60 minutes

I'd have brought him on for Edgar and put Coady back in his best position.

He won't be 'allowed to go' if he goes no doubt it will be for decent money and a profit. I wish people would get their heads around the idea that not all players work out at all clubs. There are myriad reasons for this... personal circumstances, injuries, management style etc etc... Whenever we get a player who appears a steal (like Clayton or Vaughan) it's because for one reason or another they didn't fit with their previous clubs. I believe we try our hardest and do our best but for many reasons sometime the player and the club are not a good fit.

This sums up Powell for me. If you're not >6 foot and >12 stone then you're not playing. He thinks it is still 1990.

I don't know if there are injury issues, character issues, or whatever - some clarity from the club on this issue would be nice - but this lad can play, and there is a good chance that he will massive success wherever he goes. So frustrating.

1. Examiner is shit for anything other than local news. 2. A lot of what is said on this site is a load of shit 3. Most of their rumours/gossip is taken off this site - that says it all. 4. The tweet in question is Lolley replying "nah i'm fit" to someone asking if the reason he hasn't played much is due to fitness.
That tweet could be taken as Lolley being unhappy, or maybe he was just answering a question, it's probably a bit of both.
In conclusion - this rumour sounds like bullshit.

I'm with you on this to a degree......we needed a midfield prepared to engage Leeds high up the pitch and force them back....not 5 at the back marking a lone striker!!! Edgar did excellently at Wigan.....less so against a Leeds team which hardly drew gasps of admiration and that's because his role simply wasn't needed once they scored the opening goal. As for lolley.....if he goes on loan then I'm baffled. How the chuff can you judge the lad on 5 min cameos?! I'm all for looking at how they train etc.....but I can't understand how he is deemed to be fit for a loan out when we haven't seen what he can do for us in a game situation yet. Tbh I think he has been poorly managed since he arrived oozing confidence but never played at a time when we were genuinely hopeless. His confidence evaporated, rumours of off field issues and his career here has never really picked up since.

Yes well I think I'll go out on loan to emley If he ain't getting the games then he needs a loan no point warming the bench? Someone's got to sit on the bench! We'll be registering Dyer as a forward again soon!!
