I and many others on this forum might remember the days when four sides of the Leeds Road ground would create an atmosphere even before the game started. I find it hard to understand why this type of atmosphere is only created at certain decent following away matches. What the club should be trying to do is bring in the future next generation of young town supporters . It might be an idea to ship them in from schools by the bus load, and give them free tickets for a season in the N S L section. Every fan has to start somewhere as younger the better , but you have to find a way to get kids into the ground first before giving them the chance of becoming hooked.

i suppose it does work for people who buy the budget season tickets to sit in a plastic stand , What happened to all this been near away fans and chanting at each other ? Having a roof over your heads to project the sound ? Remember Bournemouth in playoffs at home ? That's the sort of noise people want to hear , get behind the lads etc Now with this so called divide , it's fucking wank has been all season And will continue to be season on season only atmosphere fans get to see now is away games There's only a divide if you make it into one. Competition often makes people strive for better. Perhaps those in the corner of the kilner bank need to step it up a gear. We're all Town fans after all and I much prefer seeing folk enjoying themselves. And I bet they enjoy it too.

Despite there being a few cringey songs it is great in there. Imagine if the singing section could join in with us instead of being silent and moaning about it.

I don't understand this at all, they seem to have totally given up. With 10-15 mins to go, I actually sneaked out of the FML into the Kilner Bank (just walked past the stewards and St Johns in the corner and I was well past them before they realised what had happened!), and went up to the far end ready for a quicker exit at the final whistle (this is my "Leeds Exit Strategy" route !). It was seriously just the complete silence up that end that it looked like from afar, very disappointing. Enjoyed it in NSL again today - its not "shivers down your back" atmosphere like we used to get in the Kilner in the early days of the stadium, but its a MASSIVE improvement on what has happened in the last 10 years barring those special one-off days. Just needs a couple more hundred.

Although night games are notoriously poorly attended, it'd be good if we can get a big group of singers in there for the Norwich game next week. I'd like to invite every fan from every part of the ground who genuinely wants to contribute to the atmosphere, to come and join us, and show the club that we can genuinely push for over 1000 fans behind the goal. I know that wont happen on a Tuesday night against Norwich, but it could happen if enough people are prepared to take a chance on a change of environment.

I'll say it again....we are all TOWN fans together....For me there never has and never will be a them and us situation....I save that for the away following....The NSL is an initiative that is an option for like minded Town fans who want a good day out whatever the outcome on the field of play....Managers/players and staff will come and go....but if you are a true Blue then you're in it for the long haul and more often than not we have to put in the hard miles to get to where we want to be....If you're gonna lay out your hard earned on a S/C or are paying at the gate let's focus on backing the team together and doing our damndest to have a good time...wherever you sit/stand.....For what it's worth i would definitely be happier being in the SS for all the obvious reasons but with an NSL mentality .. Just as in everyday life you've got to start somewhere in an effort to achieve your ultimate goal.....The time has come for us ALL to stick together

The Kilner Singing Section & The NSL together, now that WOULD be a show. I'm writing a note to the fairy godfather of football and posting it now, he should get it in time for tomorrow.

Maybe SS is in relation to Safe Standing, or Superior Sausages, we did buy a hot dog yesterday and it was big enough to feed 2 kids.

The fans down at Brentford never gave up singing all match and we were chatting with some Brentford fans on the train after the game who had nothing but praise for the Town fans. The NSL yesterday were brilliant considering the dire tripe on the pitch and long may it last!!.

NSL were on fire yesterday! Loved every minute of it! Never stopped singing and can see it moving forwards, Ben and Scoffa are the main lads that get everyone going and they never stop. Would recommend for all town fans to join

The only two positives from yesterday
1. Joe lolley getting a start ( why did we stop giving him the ball after 20 mins?) 2. The NSL - fantastic support once again - with nothing to really sing about brilliant effort

I want the Kilner Bank lads to succeed just as much as the NSL. Better still imagine if we could have 3 singing sections one in each stand, all competing/cooperating.

How so? And maybe Boothy doesn't know??? I'm only going off what i've been told by an employee of the club What have you heard specifically and from someone in what kind of position? All i was told by a person who shall remain anonymous is that Home fans will be given 1600 seats in the south stand next season. It was also mentioned that when we play Leeds, they will be given all the south stand AND an unconfirmed amount of seats in the Kilner. This could all be bollocks but i'm only passing on what i've been told.

Thought NSL was good yesterday. Been hearing recently about contact with different groups, any specifics? Some constructive criticism would be to push on all media sites to show video of chants i.e since I was young with lyrics if this hasn't been done. Also put a message asking people in middle block to try and get as active as the core group of 20 yesterday, politely might be good haha. Overall I feel that increasing core size of NSL is the best thing to do in short-term, even 100 showing same passion would be awesome.

Links have been made with Donny Rovers who are looking to set up a behind the goal home end initiative, along with contacts with Forest, Palace, etc...Also go-pro footage from the Rotherham game is on the youtube channel at www.northstandloyal.co.uk

I have informally spoken to Palace Oxford and Aldershot fans all of which were very complimentary. All their advice went along the lines of 'stick together', 'be original' and good things will come.
