Anybody reckon we'll break our transfer record tomorrow? Just about every other team in the championship have spent £2m+ on players this window, or so it seems, so £1.5m+ shouldn't be out of the question, surely? Especially with the £7.5m we've received for tranfer fees + the massive clear out we did in January.. The quality we now required to strengthen the squad & appease the paying fans won't come cheap.. This is the most important transfer deadline day in the clubs history imo. Most important in towns history? Why do I feel that we won't do hardly owt re business

I'd love us to actually spend a few of the millions we've brought in this window, but won't hold my breath.

You're tighter than Hoyle "Shrewder" Maybe Dean has had a look at Hull, Blackburn, Brighton, Fulham and QPR and decided that we don't need to spend owt to compete with them as this line about the Championship being tough is a load of tripe.

This is the most important transfer deadline day in the clubs history imo. Seriously doubt it! I can see Town spending maybe £6-700k on a top-rated lower leaguer like Bradshaw, Woods or Dack, but that would be about it; more likely to wait on getting a PL youngster in on loan...McNair maybe. Think this transfer window will be proof (if ever it was needed) that Town can't seriously compete in this league.

Maybe our transfer record is abit ambitious but I'm sure the club are aware a fair few quid (for our standards) need to be spent tomorrow.

If Town don't spend (or atleast attempt to) £3-4 million tomorrow then it's a poor do. The Smithies money was apparently all going toward new players so I can only assume a large chunk of the Butterfield money will be too. Unless that will be considered as covering next years losses as we don't really have anyone else left to sell

And being in the relegation spot is just to lure our opponents into a false sense of security eh?

Don't expect anything huge from Jamie Patterson, my forest supporting mate says he's extremely lightweight and has gone backwards in the last 12 months.
Bloody hope lolley is a loan too, that would be another kick in the balls too.
