Everyone raves about Sagbo, but I really don't rate him. He just can't finish. Seems to do all the hard work and then blazes his shots high and wide, like a fat Jamaican. I remember when he was on loan at Wolves and played against us when we won 3-1 and he was dire, putting efforts all over the place except at the goal. You only need to have a look at his record to tell he's not prolific. His best stat is 25 goals in 99 games for Evian, which is about 1 goal every 4 games. He scored none whilst with Monaco after 19 appearances, none with Wolves and only 2 goals at Hull in 32, which is a goal every 16 games. Do we really want him? He's too hyped up for me and seems good, but I don't rate him. McShane would be alright though I guess, they love him at Hull. Don't know much about the other 2, but seem to be the sort of players we should be looking at! Sorry about the Sagbo rant, I just really don't like him

Norwich have released Javier Garrido, Carlos Cuellar, Mark Bunn, Luciano Becchio, Kyle Callan-McFadden and Sam Kelly Swansea City have confirmed that Alan Tate, Gerhard Tremmel and David Cornell have all been released by the club QPR are interested in signing former Bristol City forward Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on a free transfer Portsmouth have made a bid for Chesterfield forward Gary Roberts
Really want to JET here...but it does look extremely unlikely. Nice to see Roberts getting attention. Would you take anyone from that Swansea or Norwich list?

A step down in terms of division, but step up in terms of the size of the club and potential (and I daresay wages).

From that list, only Javier Garrido, because I think he's a left back.

See that Joshua King has joined the Cherries. Rhodes needs to get his finger out and engineer a move to the Premiership as well.

I have a question and wondered if anyone can help? I know it's not transfer related, but didn't want to upset folk with a new thread....and it seems like this is the place where all the clever sensible people post solid information...
If you spend £798m on building Wembley Stadium - why can't you make a solid enough platform for a camera to sit on and NOT wobble when a goal is scored?
Did they run out of money and decide to put the cameras on a piece of MDF?
I know that there are a lot of people there, jumping around and all that - but there are 76,000 at Old Trafford every week and it seems they can afford a concrete base for the cameras.
Unless I find out why the camera wobbles - I won't be able to get through my day.
Please help me.

Are we going to have 50 pages about players released from other clubs...... If the clubs ambition matches that on here then no wonder season ticket sales are so low..... Supernovaks retirement and subsequent lack of totally fictitious "glamour" rumors has probably cost the club thousands... as they clearly arent able to create a buzz within their PR department..... What will the next press release be? a commercial partnership with the "association of brass rubbers".
We want unknown foreigners, the dutch, spanish, brazilians..... Not bleeding Dan Potts.
Sterile club, buying sterile players, sterile atmosphere...... Something needs a rethink, standing still and stable championship football is not an attractive proposition that will get fans flooding through the gates.

Sorry about the Sagbo rant, I just really don't like him Yeh but you've got to remember he plays on the wing alot and not directly upfront, so his versatility would suit us. Plus he would fit into what Powell wants in hard working players. Defo take McShane but can imagine he was on 20-25k a week at Hull.

Town linked with Swindon RB Nathan Byrne, but move looks unlikely according to the examiner. Probably not we we need imo, but any thoughts? Very impressive in the play-offs, speed to burn! Would be happy with this. he would be a great addition £400k with scannell ahead of him would get fans off their seats. we don't need a reserve keeper allinson can do that job

Can't agree with everything that you have to say but I do believe that the club in an attempt to keep expectations low do quash stories that arent true. With this and other comments from the club the close season is not what it was, with hopes and dreams killed off before we can get excited. I know that letting people getting carried away can only bring dissapointment, but we all seem that misserable now I am surprised that we have sold as many season tickets as we have. I just want the club to give us some room to dream and allow some excitement. One early signing could make a big difference.

Not to do with us, but Newcastle have released Gutierrez. After recovering from testicular cancer, battling his way back into the team and assisting and scoring a goal that kept them up. Shocking.

I saw that and was going post it as well! Can't believe that, absolutely awful! They've released Ryan Taylor as well, but releasing Gutierrez is completely appauling! Jones actually tweeted this earlier: @elgalgojonas: Two things I learn from my illness how you can support a player (newcastle fans) and how you leAve a player alone (newcastle owner)

Cardiff City are considering a move for Swindon defender Nathan Byrne Russell Slade has been keeping an eye on the 22-year old during the 2014/15 season and he has been impressed with what he has seen. So much so that he is now preparing to make a move. The Robins have recently activated a clause in the youngster’s contract to keep him at the club for an additional year, but it is believed that bids of around £500,000 could still see the Englishman leave the County Ground link

No because the reason his contract is being terminated is because of the cancer. When he came back Ashley didn't want to give him a wage, still doesn't now he's proved he's just as good as before his injury.

I despise Ashley but surely you hand out contracts based on whether someone is good enough or not ?

Without even seeing his ability again yet.
