I've emailed....
enquiries@football-league.co.uk
registering my dissatisfaction of the outcome and reasons why I want an official review of the decision. Will it work? Probably not, but they need telling!

Even kamara said town will get the three points. If it was any other team they would have been given the three points but because it's 'only town' it won't happen

We know that the reason the game was not replayed was because 'nothing was at stake'. If we invaded the pitch and that kept us up, we would have to replay the game. Let's not get too upset by this outcome as it really means very little (and gives CP an extra 2 points,to improve year on year, next season!). Here's hoping that the fans will be reimbursed. This not happening would be the only real injustice. This should include ticket price and travel costs although I imagine they will bottle the latter. They will also receive a hefty fine and the possibility of a points reduction is still on the table. I'm fairly sure this does not set a precedent. I'd imagine the only way you'd get any travel costs reimbursed is if you travelled on the official coaches/HTSA coaches. Anyone who drove, stayed overnight etc won't get anything for that.

Disappointed with Clibbens response. Why do we always just seem to accept things? Kick up a bloody fuss Clibbens or does he just want a nice quiet summer

So when we rake the lead on the first game of next season I assume we'll invade the pitch and be awarded the win then? Seeing as points should be earned on the pitch.

there are now 'neccessary' league matches and 'unneccessary' ones.. by league decree...
last and final point that is a fact;;
town had the chance to be 15th, that's it, its sacrosanct in my view and cannot be decided off the football pitch..
what the league have done is admit they have no integrity and the league rules mean nothing at all..

Fairly unsurprising really. Not that I thought this would happen necessarily - but its the kind of weak decision that's not unexpected from the Football League!
QPR must be feeling pretty smug knowing they'll get sod all punishment from this sackless organisation.

Actually, there is a potential benefit to finishing fifteenth instead of sixteenth. Seeding for the first two rounds of the League Cup are based on league position the previous season. We'll be seeded for the first round, but the lowest seeded team for the second round last season was Leeds (fifteenth), while Sheffield Wednesday (sixteenth) were unseeded. This. At least we won't be knocked out by Accrington

There was too much to catch up on after the excitement of a night in St Anne's. We were both right then, you just got home before me

Someone's already said it... 'little old Huddersfield'. We count for absolutely nothing. Pointless getting angry about it. Let's just try and get ready for next season and keep moving forward... OUR DAY WILL COME!

So what if Blackpool were leading at the time? They presumably still wouldn't have replayed the match because its not any more meaningful. Would all 3 points have been given to them? Of course not. Would they have been split as if it were a draw? Based on their logic, we wouldn't have earned that 1 point.
Stupid decision.

Absolute joke. Precedent set. We all know what we need to do next time we need a point in our last game of season.

Could you imagine if this had happened the other season against Barnsley, where either us, them or Posh went down?! If any of the 4 sets of fans (Us, Barnsley, Posh or Palace) had stormed the pitch at any time to ensure their safety (or in Palace's place, a spot in the play-offs)there would've been uproar!

The football league have always been cowards and we, as a club, have always been too spineless to challenge them. The whole goalkeeping incident at Southend showed me that all those years ago, and as a club we havnt changed, we just lie back and have our tummies tickled by them. At least some other clubs have the bottle to challenge them legally or kick up a fuss.
It isnt about just the 3 points and finishing higher, its the precedent it sets, firstly that they dont give a toss because its just a shite Championship team against a relegated Championship team, secondly that they arent bothered that a football league game hasnt been completed and they dont think that the remaining 42 minutes of a game matter, and finally that they accept fans can get a game abandoned if they are winning or drawing and they still gain the points.
The football league can stick their refund up their arse, give it to the air ambulance.

Blackpool have been charged with a breach of regulation 31.1, which states:
“Any club failing to fulfill its fixture obligations in respect of any match under the jurisdiction of the League on the appointed date, or dates, or causing the Board to suspend any fixture, shall be deemed guilty of misconduct, unless the circumstances giving rise to such failure are outside the control of the club and could not have been reasonably foreseen or reasonably anticipated and remedied prior to the match.”
Like how all the stewards were in on it. Like how the police couldn't give a fk.
It's not like it wasn't well publicised something like this might happen.
How can they touch Blackpool? They can just say that as a club they were powerless to stop this from happening (which to be fair is probably correct) If the police didn't give a shit, blackpool can use them as an excuse.

I think we should steal Blackpool's 4-357-2 formation next season, as it worked wonders for them in the second half in getting them an undeserved point.

If we had known it was to be a 48 minute game we would surely have started with Scannell to try to get our noses in front.

Their fans should be voted player of the season - improved their points per game.

They were quick to deduct Rotherham 3 points for fielding an inelegible player a couple of weeks or so ago, which could have easily relegated them, points should be earned on the pitch eh?
