No fuss quick poll. Not about blame, or knee jerk, just simple facts.

Too early to sack him (I know his recent record is dire).
Want him to stay, grow a pair, freshen up earlier as regards to subs, give more time to Lolley and Dempsey and keep us up.
Where's the option for that?

Never too early to get rid. 2 wins in what is it now 17/18? You may "hope" he changes his tactics, giving people a chance etc but you "know" he probably won't. My only concern would be who is available? The guy I would want is up in Scotland now unfortunately.

And think of all the bread puns we could have had too.

Want him to stay and be a success. why wouldn't anyone want that? Absolutely no need for a sacking yet.

So we want a revolving door policy at Town? Seems like ever since we've had this huge injection of cash people have become even more impatient...
Let's get Harry Redknapp in eh, he'll surely have the best interests of the club in mind...

Time for Hasslebaink to have a go at a higher level? The bonus of that one is the media won't kick off about us sacking a black manager because we'll be appointing another

So he brings on 2 attacking minded players to try and win the game and it does not work out. I thought that is what people wanted.

Want him to stay, but he's not helping himself at the moment. We need a win and soon.

There's a couple of things massively in his favour:
1) He seems genuinely a good bloke 2) He's Hoyle's man, and Hoyle is Town through-and-through
Stan Ternent - a twat appointed by Davy's puppet - was absolutely slaughtered by the Town crowd, but I couldn't say he was a worse manager than Powell.

Powell is a super bloke, honest and I'm sure hard working but I'm far from sure he's a good manager.
His tactics are too negative and too confused. There is an imbalance in midfield, we are also woefully inept in attack.
We don't have bad players as such but we're not getting the best from them.
Overall he needs to do better at every level and soon.

I'm never really one for calling for manager's heads. I like Powell - he comes across as a really likeable bloke and I want him to succeed at Town. I think he's done alot of good for the club, particularly in making us more competitive and stopping the regular heavy beatings. That said, he needs to find a way to make Town a more effective going forward. Making us competitive is great, but we now need to work on our attacking play. The next few weeks and months will be crucial and the longer we go without a win the more pressure he will come under.
I just hope that if the winless run continues he doesn't become even more cautious. I think that would make things worse rather than better.
Let's hope we can get that first win on the board so we can play with a little bit more freedom.

QPR were shit today. We should have battered them and would have if we had any decent strikers.

I'd rather he stayed and became a success but I'm getting more and more pissed off with him with every game.
These next few days before the windows closes need to be a busy one for them and he needs to sort everything out during the international break. He might as well use the time to read a book or two on football management and tactics, with a key focus on substitutions.

Yes I know things can change but it isn't looking good is it? I know, should have had at least a point today, and the Brighton and Blackburn home games were winnable too, possibly we could have had something at Hull and Fulham too if we'd been more adventurous, maybe you're right.... I remember us playing well under Wadsworth and losing every week, never a good sign.

QPR were shit today. We should have battered them and would have if we had any decent strikers. So shit they scored seven in their last two league games We played well and nullified them but let's just say QPR were shit because it's easier than being positive about Town!

QPR'S wage bill has NOTHING to do with our inability to put a decent corner in, support the attack, make effective substitutions that add to the threat posed not maintain the staus quo I would send him and his assistant packing and while they are it take tommy smith and lynch with them Absolute garbage in the sense of the danger we cause the opposition. About as dangerous as a flat aaa battery. This is our FOURTH SEASON in this league but once again we start the season WEAK up front and at the back . The club would rather spend their money on players to make money on that are not even ready for the first team than address the current problems and preside over a manager gripped in fear of having two wingers and two strikers on the pitch at any one time.
