Don't see why not our record transfer fee is peanuts compared to most, £2m isn't much in this league anymore. I and every other fan know that but that hasn't made Dean spend before At some point though if we really want to kick on we will have too

This is the big problem with all these loan signings !! We could effectively be playing the lad back into form and fitness and on the situation where he goes back to Wigan in January to be sold.
I think Paterson is the only one we've got an option on I believe.

I think Paterson is the only one we've got an option on I believe. it is a problem, Town effectively have no assets to sell for a profit. I hope, as has been mentioned, we have a transfer fee pre-negotiated for the loan players.

The cupboard is looking pretty bare but I'd imagine the money coming in for JB will keep the wolf from the door. Given the success of our policy over the past few years I'd imagine it's more that the players aren't available to bring in rather than us not prepared to spend.

Get him signed up permanently.
We may have to give 2M for him, But he is gonna be good,
Don't know why we don't just get half a dozen players from Man City at the beginning of every season.
If we don't buy him, Wolves or Derby will in January.

A contentious post I know, but after watching the forest game, I thought he had a pretty innocuous game until he scored late on. Bunn and Whitehead bossed it for Town. Davidson wants the ball all the time too. perhaps Huws is till not as fit as he would like to be so has to temper his effort.

Chances are that if his profile continues to rise Wigan will call him back - with no intention of playing him after his parting-shot comments - and then flog him to the highest bidder. As someone already said, that will likely be Wolves or Derby.

Don't think Derby really need him, they have a pretty decent midfield as it is and he's quite similar to Hughes (not just in name) who will be back at the start of next year.

As someone already said, that will likely be Wolves or Derby. I doubt that Steve Morgan will be wanting to spend more money on players if he hasn't sold Wolves by January. Given that West Brom and Villa can't find buyers it's questionable what interest there will be in Wolves before the window opens again.

Huws did a heck of a lot of high quality work alongside Whitehead throughout the game. In that system we are playing its difficult for him to burst forward and stand out otherwise all the balance of the team goes. I think his moves forward were well judged. I guess it was his first full game for a year so he is way short of full fitness for a midfielder.

Whitehead's been quite a bit better than him the last couple of games. Obviously in a team that was really struggling to score his goals have been massive for us. I'm sure there's more to come from him as he gets fitter. Just think some are getting a bit carried away at the moment.

Ye, that bloody Dean Hoyle that only spent and continues to spend millions and millions of his own pounds on wages, fees, shares and canalside was only in it for the money. Lol. Seriously though, I just think were extremely well run now and we refuse to panic buy, or pay over the odds. Money is there if the deal is right, football is getting crazier every season though and I doubt we would pay over the odds just cause we sold butters for a obscene amount. I personally think its been a fantastic effort from the board to do so well over the seasons in championship and stay up, and quite comfortably in last couple.

Sorry I regurgitated what has been said thousands of times on here but as a pessimistic, cynical tit that I am myself I struggle to comprehend the negative hysteria by some on here.
