Judging by social media it's a non starter. He posted what feels like a goodbye.
Who knows though?

Wagner has played a lot of things down recently. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up here for the rest of the season I'd say not a prayer based on last ten posts on here... I reckon he will go out on loan to a top 6 championship club

If he isn't coming back it will be because he is being sold, not because Leicester want him to play for someone in the top six

And Leicester will want him to play a little further up the pyramid , in front of Bigger crowds... In my opinion... Whatever's happening to him all the social media signals are that he's not coming here

I can't see it but my dad was told that Chilwell was going to the Victims for £4m and then being loaned back to us for 18 month. Ah well, we can dream

All the best if he does go - this is what a loan is all about.
A young player who has come in and wants to play with no ego or attitude, has impressed and given 100% in every game.
He has learnt new things and I hope he goes on to great things.

Can't see why they would sell him anyway unless it was for silly money to someone like Man U.

What a superb young man, we wish him well and will be tracking him throughout his career.
Problem is, he's left a big hole

I honestly cant think of a player at town, in my time, who was more of a "he'll play for england" than chilwell.
Think it would be daft of leicester to recall him just to send him to another championship club though..he's pretty much a shoe-in to start here and under a good coach. Most of the top sides, unless for injuries, will have a decent LB. Cant see money being a big factor either...he wont be on much and i doubt leicester are desperate to squeeze a few more quid at the possible expense of his dev.
Sold, backup at leicester or prem loan would make more sense if he's not coming back. Best scenario of those 3 would be sold to liverpool...as we'd no doubt get him back.

Davidson needs to step up to the plate now! Simply not good enough IMO. We need to sign someone.

Wagner pretty much saying its a very slim chance of him rejoining, which would be a shame. I reckon our best bet would be him staying at Leicester and them sending him back to us. I fear he could end up at one of the greedy clubs who sign players to stop others getting them,,,,,the QPR, Bolton,Wolves type He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and has enjoyed it here, I could see him favouring us over them teams

The lad has loved it here and if it was totally up to him I think he'd stay til the summer. But he now has an uncertain couple of weeks coming up and no one knows where he ll end up playing come feb. I reckon he ll get loaned out again but to where will depend on who his parent club is by then.

Let's see if DW can get the best out of Australian international Davidson like he has with many others before we throw him and his 3 year contract on good money in the bin.

Interesting comments there about Lolley's fitness, which begs the question as to what Powell and his coaches were playing at and not just with Lolley, but the whole squad's overall fitness levels.

Yes, in hindsight a lot of what was going on under Powell was simply inexcusable. Aside from Chilwell (big impact I know), it's been the same squad of players, yet there's just no comparison with what was happening under Powell. Given what's happened at Town, is it any wonder clubs look abroad more and more these days?

I thought Reece was good last season, but this lad has real potential, can't ever remember seeing such a young kid looking so good as a defender.
Fingers crossed the lad keeps his head down, picks the right club and goes on to be a star.
