And I wonder how many were willing them to win when they were buying the championship? So what, they are winning the prem without multi millions misfits. Even got a player we had in drinkwater. Good luck to them i say. Might be us in next 20 years. A post with no crazy capitals, random punctuation, or intentional spelling mistakes! It even makes sense too! Well done Nicholas! Now just try and post like this every time and the DATM World will be a much brighter place!

I have a tenner on the Cherries going down, I am half with you I have 50p (@ 2000/1) on B'muff to win the bloody thing ! - it was them or Leicester (and t'Cherries were better odds......) ..........COULD have been different if Wilson hadn't got injured so early on!! Work with a Leicester fan who at the start of each season puts £10 each on them winning the league, FA Cup and League Cup. His Prem bet was 5000/1!!!!!!! His phone goes mad when Leicester win. He says he has had at least 10 "Cash out" requests this morning already.

It would be the biggest achievement in English football history if do it. Their team (on paper) at the beginning of the season looked like your standard bottom half Premier League side. Not even the most die hard Leicester fan would have predicted a run like this. Mahrez, Vardy, Drinkwater and Kante have been exceptional. Good on em I reckon what Clough did at Forest goes way beyond what Leicester might do. If Leicester win the League this season, then follow it up with back to back Champions League wins, back to back League Cups, a Charity Shield and a Super Cup then it might compare. Im talking about a single achievement...in English football

What is really annoying me at the moment is when the pundits and critics are saying that the premier league has never been as weak because of all these results by so called lesser teams. However I definitely don't see it like that, I see it that the premier leagues other teams have finally started to spend the money, the managers are now mostly continental or have the more modern way of playing their teams. The tactics are much, much better from the lower teams. Add that to the better quality of player that is coming through. I actually think it's a stronger, tougher league now. We just need to make the carling cup an u21 cup and the winner of the FA cup win champions league spot and it would be fine. *please don't mention the disparity in money. I am aware of it but even the championship teams have better level of player and tactics. It's just the same as when Blackburn and Leeds went up and won it. The big clubs have an "off season or three" and everyone else is much of a muchness, ride the promotion for a couple of months and everyone approaches games against you in a different way, not expecting to win. It's the same reason why a pretty ordinary looking Chelsea team won the title, others just expected to get beat, same was true for last 4 years or so of Fergie at Man U.

He is very coy and won't say but he has confirmed his Leicester bets which although are not quite as big as I thought they will still give him a very healthy return; Leicester to win title 1500/1 Leicester top 4 125/1 Leicester top 6 25/1 Vardy Golden Boot 100/1 £10 on each bet. He is showing signs of stress as apparently they have Man City & Arsenal next 2 games so his cash out( bookies buying him out of the bet) messages are becoming even more frequent!!

It's just nonsensical. The implication seems to be that the Greedy League is only "strong" when the monied "big boys" are sweeping aside the "minnows" by several clear goals every week. Tosh.

I have to disagree on that one, when Leeds and Blackburn went up the finances in football were nowhere near the levels they are at now, as such they were competing on a much more level playing field than the one Leicester find themselves competing now with the likes of City, United, and Chelsea. Nottingham Forests achievements were probably achieved on an even more level playing field than the 2 above, as such I would say that this achievement is far superior to either of those 3 achievements which I am guessing would show up massively if we looked at the odds of the 4 clubs in question before they won their first titles. What Ranieri is achieving this season is truly miraculous.

I must be the only person in the country that wants them to fade down to 7th and Bournemouth to get relegated. Not keen on Leicester at all but i agree that its good for football when the under dogs are doing so well. I hope Man City win the league and watching Leicester's game last night, god knows what Klopp thought of that pathetic hunting horn they play just before kick off.

The pundits, journo's, the so-called people in the know are blinded by money. They can't see past it - follow the billions and it's a safe bet. All the experts on Radio Five were still predicting Man City to win the title a couple of weeks ago - as they well might. The BBC website had the images of the four big managers on the transfer day web page - no Leicester (how the hell did they include Klott of Liverpool in this? - 9th in the League and a fixation for some).
So, although I am a bit loathe to say it, I hope Leicester win it, and next year Tottenham, and the year after Stoke, just to show that outrageous sums of money and being able to pay a manager £300,000 a week (Guardiola) doesn't guarantee you success. If the bubble is gonna burst, I really hope it will happens soon.

Im talking about a single achievement...in English football It still wouldn't beat Clough taking Forest up and winning the league and league cup the in their first season back. Just my opinion, of course, others are available. In my opinion it would. Easier for smaller teams back then. Not easy, it was a gigantic achievement by Forest, but still a bit easier.
