I think we got to the stage where the big four (United, City, Chelsea and Arsenal) simply believed they had to just turn out a side to finish in the top four every year. Well united and Chelsea have had a rude awakening and both City and Arsenal still look like they are continually in third gear. What Spurs and particularly Leicester are doing is re-writing the rule book to the benefit of the rest of football. Would love to see one of them actually pull it off this year. But they had better get their skates on, because I can't see Pep Guardiola allowing City to continue to play at half cock any longer.

This is a massive win for Leicester and a massive turning point in the title race, just watching it in the pub in Preston. It's far too easy for Leicester, Manchester City have been dire.

leicester play a system geared to the players they have. they know individually they are no match, so they set up to defend using decent defenders and use pace on the counterattack. shows that possession aint everything. goals win you games.

No title won in Feb of course but a win away at Etihad is putting down a hell of a marker. Well done Leicester.

Our main area of weakness. But they defend as a team. Even when City break fast there are loads back, blocking and doubling up. That intense defending takes massive fitness and concentration. It's not just the back four.

A good holding midfielder always makes a defence look better and Kanté is the best holding midfielder in the league bar none.

It still wouldn't beat Clough taking Forest up and winning the league and league cup the in their first season back. Just my opinion, of course, others are available. In my opinion it would. Easier for smaller teams back then. Not easy, it was a gigantic achievement by Forest, but still a bit easier. It could be an equal achievement. No matter about the big money of today, surely the money disparity of clubs in the past still existed. The bigger teams could get the better players, nothing much has changed.

I don't really care who wins but it would be nice to see someone outside those big teams do it even if it was Tottenham instead of Leicester.

Their style is interesting. Any danger and they hoof it. They only play football in the opposition's half. Perhaps there's a lesson to be learnt there.

I reckon what Clough did at Forest goes way beyond what Leicester might do. If Leicester win the League this season, then follow it up with back to back Champions League wins, back to back League Cups, a Charity Shield and a Super Cup then it might compare. And then Raneri twats a couple of QPR fans. It really was a memorable time. I remember going to football training on a Wednesday night, then coming home to sit down to watch the ITV highlights of whoever Forest were taking on. Settled down with a big fat egg salad teacake and bag of crisps - and you just knew whoever they were playing, without knowing the result, they would win the game. Whether it was Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa ( not the Manchester's, or Chelsea, they were a joke in those days ! ) in domestic cups, or the greats of Europe in a competition involving PROPER champions of their respective leagues, they just blew 'em all away, either at the muddy City Ground, or away from home, seemed to make little difference ! And for you young one's, this was a side made up of misfits, players rejected by other clubs, players regarded not fit to play in the 3rd division let alone the high echelons of European competition, and even Kenny Burns ! Great days, thank you Mr Clough, and Mr Taylor !

Wow 5 points clear. If they dont win it they wont ever again. Ah but they said the same Nick when Newcastle United were 12 points clear all those years ago. Now look at them..........er yes, fair comment ! I would love it, just love it, if Leicester City go on to win the league !

I would be happy for my friends down there, if Leicester were to win it. But if Spurs were to do it, there would be a lot of unhappy Londoners. so win win either way.

Leicester or Spurs winning it this time would send out a strong message that the top four isn't a closed shop. What with the idea of a European Super League rearing its ugly head again this week, I'd say it's needed. I'd rather Leicester than Spurs personally though. Drinkwater catching Woy's eye too, it seems...
