I blame Grim’s post about next season above all else.

This is just the rich tapestry that is Huddersfield Town. Following Town has never been easy. It’ll be reyt. We’re going up as next years champions. Huddersfield Town will fucking rise again, etc. I have to admit, I’m not feeling it at the moment. Need the season to finish and recharge the batteries over summer.

We need Blackburn to win tomorrow then still in our own hands at least. Highly unlikely of course. Last week was a kick in the nads, no doubt, and been fuming all week, but the squad is shite and not up to the required level.

Good effort from Darren Moore, overseeing two relegations in one season.

I wonder if the EFL could arrange for its member clubs and then also the National League clubs to boycott the FA Cup? Or threaten to? The FA Cup’s magic has gone. It died a long time ago. The ‘big six’ (laughable really as Spurs aren’t a big club and haven’t been for decades) should all just fulfil their ambitions and leave the English national game. Good riddance. Ultimately their owners are grasping for more cash as per the American Football system and it will kill the top flight game in this country within two decades if nothing changes. I wouldn’t want Town be part of that league. As it happens, you’re in luck … 😂

They might as well scrap the cup. Any lingering magic is killed off each year. Everyone play the reserves like the top two divisions do. Even better, don’t enter like Man U that time.

Probably nothing. Maybe compensation. I think the fact VAR was there and not used to look at an appeal when in the build up players had been told there was no need to harangue the referee as VAR would be used to check everything, then a few difficult questions could have been asked. Forest players were openly taking the piss while we accepted it. Just seemed strange. As for Welch, another bad decision and not much we can do about it now. All football fans probably gloss over the ones that have gone for them and remember the ones that robbed them, but we do seem to have had a lot to against us in recent years. Is it the size of the club? The ones that went for us that I can think of were in L2. The Pav offside goal against Lincoln at home and Mansfield’s disallowed “winner” in Cardiff, both where we were the bigger club. Plus the penalty against Lincoln in the play-offs. Lincoln fans still moan about that one and it's 20 years ago. Though personally, I don't think Andy Booth would dive, and we'd been denied one earlier on for a blatant handball so we were due one. Has a team ever been given compensation due to a decision going against them? Not sure, doubt it. My initial comment followed blackmoreisgod saying: “it's only a matter of time given the money at stake these days and the amount of mega rich foreign owners new to football before the PGMOL finds itself on the wrong end of a writ” It hasn’t happened to my knowledge, but probably is only a matter of time. The difference being it’ll be when a decision goes against a top 6 club. The likes of Town are powerless as yesterday’s scrapping of FA Cup replays proves.

I still find it weird/suspicious that Town never kicked up a fuss after the Forest playoff final. With the amount of money at stake and VAR being available. What would it have achieved? Probably nothing. Maybe compensation. Wonderful irony that this scandalous news was announced and the same day as all Premier League clubs are now knocked out of Europe (yes, I know Villa are in the Zenith Data Euromillions Conference still). Although I suppose they’ll only twist that to back up their reasoning. Wankers.

All EPL teams out of the Champions League competition before the semi final stage😂😂 Best league in the world, etc. Liverpool, West Ham and Villa out tonight I reckon/hope.

I suppose a Preston win would be best tonight. Keep them with a very faint hope of the play-offs so they’re up for QPR on Saturday. Also takes Southampton out of the automatic race so hopefully Ipswich up before we play them. Clutching at a lot of straws with increased desperation.

Did anyone see the West Brom penalty at Rotherham? I know it doesn’t matter at this stage of the season, but it’s a farce. 55 second if you want a look. Madness!

Absolute bollox bro.. It’s banter.. I loved it.. Never ever ever miss an opportunity to take the piss out of the dirty beeston chestwankers.. 🍻🍻 Would’ve been great if we were up there with them, not an embarrassing mess of a club destined for league one. There’s a time and a place for “Bantz” I agree. Just made us look stupid as a lot of folk around me thought as well. To be fair, “position of strength” takes some beating if you’re trying to make us look stupid. Those smug wankers need to go. KN probably needs to learn as well if it was his social media post that led to Warnock’s comments that led to him being sacked. That’s probably cost us our Championship status and him a lot of money due to ego.

It’s a long time since I’ve left a ground as gutted as yesterday. I’m still fuming now. However, we need to quickly get over it and focus on the next game. Win that and there’s still a chance. From our last four games, a lot of us said two home wins and a point away could do it. Well, yesterday we got that point (two dropped or robbed though it may have been). It’s still in our hands.

Win your home games against Swansea/Birmingham and you’re safe and it doesn’t matter what the other teams do. It’s unlikely that we’ll win both those, but our goal difference is terrible too so not sure 49 points would do it now. All the others down there fighting for their lives and picking up points.

Blackburn play Wednesday at home. Bit like our game against Birmingham, it could decide if they stay up or go down. One win would give them 49 points and a comparatively decent goal difference would probably see them safe.

Well, that went surprisingly well. C’mon Town, show a bit of fight. Two home wins and possibly a point away should do the trick! 🤞🏼

There’s as much chance of our midfield controlling that balloon that’s floated onto the pitch as the football. The lack of quality at this level is astounding.
