Not bothered what they think. Especially someone like Ian Wright. He is a total fucking plank. We don't need any verification from the likes of him, Lineker or Shearer. I haven't watched MOTD in about 15 years. It's shit

I think anyone who says they'd prefer to be in the division below wants their head examined. Being in the Prem is bragging rights for any club and town/city. Not to mention the financial reward

Very nice indeed. Lössl goes from zero to hero, Mbenza gets goal of the season (well HIS goal of the season!) and Utd miss out on the Champions League. A few pints will be flowing in Huddersfield tonight, a bit like an Irish wake. An undercurrent of sadness but a good craic all the same. Cheers! I'm in London but yeah, I'm gonna get fucking wasted

Not coming from Huddersfield or the area, my connection to Huddersfield being only through my parents who are abroad, perhaps I don't 'get' the Dean Hoyle love in. Perhaps I'm looking a bit from the outside in and don't get the emotion surrounding all this.
But I respect what he has done. Just wish this season had turned out different. Anyway, whatever. Next season is a new season, we'll be there or there abouts. I'm pleased we put the nail in Man U's champs league coffin, and the side who plays in the ground I grew up next to won today. I always look out for their results.
Thanks, Dean Hoyle. What a 2 years this has been. What a ride since he took over.
Bring on Luton away!

I’m buzzing, next season Mbenza will be very important for us I think so, too. I don't get those who slate him. He will be far too good for the defences he will be up against.

No chance is the new bloke going to bankroll the club. People need to chill out, have an AM beer, as the Ajax fans sing "every little thing, gonna be alright"
The money will come from elsewhere. This is a shrewd move.

Chairman and face of the club in its business dealings.. the money is from 'elsewhere'... Correct. The PR, local lad, the backing, however, comes from somewhere else Who would want to be a silent partner? Can probably narrow it down to one or two countries.

I'd feel a bit of a wanker too if I was him tbh He's probably one of the best directors the club has had in my sxtremely long life. Okay 👍🏻 just keep him away from interviews

Is that the same Jarvis who when interviewed on Sky Sports pre our first season in the Prem smugly said "we're going to bring something to the Premier League it has never seen before" That didn't age well I'd keep a low profile, too. He probably thinks nobody remembers. What did we bring, Sean, that was so memorable, aside from being an absolute embarrassment this season? We'll be forgotten soon enough I think it was more to do with the posters who repeatedly act like wankers tbh. I'd feel a bit of a wanker too if I was him tbh

Hoyle, Jarvis & co. probably look on here occasionally. I can just imagine the conversation that follows... Dean - "you been on DATM recently"? Sean - "yep, business as usual on there, rabid speculation, people kicking off after every game, a few moaning about how shit our backroom is" Dean - "thanks Sean, not sure what planet some of those fuckers are on" Sean - "some of 'em seem to constantly be orbiting around delusion" Dean - "ha..., what do you think we should do about telling them little snippets and leaking stuff about the takeover"? Sean - "mmmmm... Let's plant some seeds, you know the usual, the Yanks, Far East investment, Andrew Jones Pies etc." Dean - "sounds like a plan, go for it..." Sean - "when shall I start cranking up the rumour mill"? Dean - "leave it a while, there's a long summer ahead on DATM, need something to distract them when they find out we're re-signing James Vaughan & the Clarke brothers..." Sean actually took a screenshot last week from this forum, so he definitely comes on. Doubt he's got much interest in contributing on here anymore though.b Is that the same Jarvis who when interviewed on Sky Sports pre our first season in the Prem smugly said "we're going to bring something to the Premier League it has never seen before" That didn't age well I'd keep a low profile, too. Not sure the route of untested youth from lower leagues is a good idea. Not sure tried and tested players at this level is a good idea, either! Bit of a conundrum!!
Norwich proved you dont need proven Championship players. We did the same a couple of years ago. Wont happen a third time, no chance
Can we just buy Neymar?

It would give us a readymade chant for next season when we take 6 points off them. Think they might be in a bit of a pickle financially if they don’t go up. Think this would be a much better chant - IF they don’t make it (the second one) 🎵 We're going down, they're staying down. The Town, are going down, the Leeds, are staying down 🎵

We’ve been a pile of shit all season. We at least competed under Wagner.....we are getting pumped under this fella week in week out. This could be 7 or 8!!! Don't worry! It's all okay! We were playing Leyton Orient this time 10 years ago! Or is nobody using that argument anymore now it isn't King Wagner in charge? Remember where we came from!

There will be some knobs on here that will still reckon it’s Hamer’s fault for our defeat tonight! You mean just like you don't blame Hamer for his genuinely incredible fuck-ups? Mate, Lossl is the reason its 3 nil and not 1 nil LOL. Get a grip. Thankfully Calamity Lossl wont he here next season

I couldn't care less about Mbenza. If I were in charge I'd have cut his loan short and brought in a proper winger in January. I don't get the Mbenza hate. I think he's good and I'm sure he'll go on to bigger and better things than Town. I'd have him, Diakhaby and Grant top 3 next season
