I know some of you know that some of my mates are Weds fans but it has to be said that Wednesday are the best set of fans to come to the JSS this season, Burnley wee good too but Wednesday are just a class above anyone in this league.

Really? I find Wednesday fans to be a set of delusional mongs, even more so than the champions of europe.
Just had a quick browse on there forum and its the usual 'we think we are a big club but nobody else does syndrome'. For some bizarre reason they think we hate them and are trying to stir a rivalry up?
Newsflash Wednesday fans, the feelings more than mutual 99 percent of town fans genuinelly couldnt give a shit when we play you its just nice to get a few away fans behind the gates.
They find it hard to admit that clubs like little old Huddersfield dont think there a big deal. Got more of a rivalry with Oldham, Peterborough and Halifax than them dipsticks never mind Bradford, Leeds, Barnsley etc.

I think what this proves and is clearly illustrated each time there are a large number of fans in the SS, that it is important that the club aim to have the SS as the the home end on a permanent basis. The noise that is created has a massive (bad choice of word, I know) impact on the the atmosphere within the stadium. The SS should be the new "Cowshed"

Yep best supporters we've had this season. Got chatting to some after game and they were all good people. Would like to see them go up.

Yorkshire club, Yorkshire people..
Fans said similar things about us in lower league.. Who do Huddersfield think they are.. Remember the 'shit ground, no fans' song.
Rather Wednesday than Leeds for me.

There was a load in Town yesterday, although they weren't misbehaving, given the chance they would have.

They certainly showed up in numbered. Were there less than 2,000 of them last season?
As much as we don't like to say it, Leeds have the best support in the division. They consistently sell out away games even though they are crap.
Wednesday have a lot of 'fair weather fans' who are jumping on the band wagon now that they are doing well. Suppose it's only normal for a club in a city of that size.

Our game was on sky against Leeds this season and they had no problem selling out straight away. I would say that you probably have the second best away support in the league. The other teams with big home gates (Derby, Brighton, boro, forest) don't always seem to travel well.

Our away average is about 2500 this season, was 1,950 or so last year, so a few have jumped back on board.

Wednesday fans are ok, they're bit like us..been in the doldrums for a few years, had some crap managers (and owners)..butof course they have a bigger fan base because Sheffield is far bigger than Huddersfield. Yesterdays crowd were ok, but they were quiet for long periods, esp in the 2nd half and only really got going when they scored in the 83rd minute.
They are having a good season, and are 'full of it' ,and why not ? We would be exactly the same (next season maybe ?)..Nothing wrong with making the most of the good times because they don't come round very often..I didn't like their style of play or tactics yesterday but...in some respects it shows how far we have come because they didn't want to take us on toe to toe...they feared us. so they stifled the game, stifled us and in the end had more oomph on their bench than we had because they've spent plenty.
I don't think they will go up though, although I wouldn't mind if they did.

Wednesday fan starts thread complementing Wednesday fans while masquerading as a Town fan.
This is his first post since November and when was the last game against Wednesday ......Ohhh that would have been in November.
All this Wagner revolution and his first post in 5 months is about Wednesday fans, so transparent my friend!
Really, opposing fans are not putting enough effort in these days!
News for you boys - At least make a post between games if you expect to be deemed credible.

Must admit I was disappointed with the atmosphere at your stadium as not once did I hear you sing, might be something to do with the acoustics in each stand but I thought you lot were very quiet.

They were quite noisey for parts of the 1st half but like door mice in the 2nd until they scored. I wouldn't say they were anything special and were up challenging for promotion.
