Hopefully all the coaching staff in particular Rhodes knocked on the referees door and said " excuse me referee we all apologise for acting like little children and just to say well done you where right"

Sad we have Sky Sports subscribers. They'll have 1 less soon! Just got a letter from the greedy bastards saying it's going up again. That makes a 22% increase in my package in just under 2 years. Had Sky for 20+ years, but just had enough of them now. I never watch Premier league football anyway & that's what the increases are for. Fuck em.

It's a bit of a hike to Hillsborough, but the trams are frequent. The ground is dated but it's massive & there's always plenty of room for us!

Think thats the problem, it is a right hike from the city centre, the trams are frequent but they are always uncomfortably full. Despite its close proximity, it's not one of my favourites either.

If and when it becomes cheaper to go to the pub to watch every game that I have any interest in watching, then I will cancel. The price of ale needs to come down first, i cant sit there for 2 hours plus with a half, its not in my DNA unfortunately..

I know what you're saying, but lots of grounds are a right hike. Leeds, Preston & Bristol City are 3 examples that we've played recently. Just can't see why anyone could say it's a 'horrid away day'. Anyway, definitely don't want them to go up. Of the 4, they'd be my last choice! Initially I wanted Brighton because it's the furthest away. That's looking unlikely though, so of the other 3, we'd be better off Derby going up to collect the Butterfield money.

It's the worst ground in the league, worse than some in league one. God knows why they've never torn it down. Wednesday always bring plenty to us- only reason I'd like em to stay down. Not bothered otherwise.

Only when folk get rid of the evil monster that is Sky and the vile Murdoch empire is totally annihilated will we be free.

Anyone with a sky dish already installed, get yourself an openbox. I can send you the contact details of the guy i used. 80 quid, simply connect the box the same way you did your skybox, every sky channel and box office (only downside is most of sky channels are in standard definiton, BT sports is HD though). Then 30 quid a year thereafter. You need half decent internet speed to unscramble the signal, think they suggest 2 meg minimum.

I'm not too bothered who goes up from the Championship in the play offs - much prefer watching the League 1 play off games as to who comes up. However, there is a perverse part of me that would like Derby and Sheff Wednesday to fail, in order to see exactly how much money they can throw at it next season, and if an extra £15 million spent on new players this summer might be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Now I've seen Hull 2-0 up, I'm convinced they will go up. They're practically assured of a place in the final (as are Wednesday, no team has ever overturned a 2-0 deficit from the first leg of the play offs), I think they will be able to beat Wednesday at Wembley, they seem to know how to do the play offs.
That said, the play offs are different and can be anybody's to win.
Predictions for play offs (probably will get nowhere near): Hull Millwall Plymouth Grimsby

Question. If Derby don't go up this season, but succeed next campaign, would we still get extra Butterfield funds next summer or was the extra payment for Derby going up THIS SEASON only?

I would think it was for the entire time he was still a Derby player....but what do I know (Similarly, we got something from Rhodes move to boro after his first season).

0-3 now to Hull. Poor old Derby. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. The nearly men of the league.

Derbys new nickname 'The Crabs'... is Richard Keogh permanently suprised about everything? Tom Ince fast becoming the biggest underachiever??

Was on holiday a couple of years ago and met a guy from Derby with his family. I was chatting about football generally, but he always managed to turn the conversation back to Derby - Derby this, Derby that, should be in the PL blah, blah blah! I told him eventually that I was a Town fan and he said, ... worst side to visit the Ipro this season". Fair enough I suppose.
My thoughts are with him today. A little bit of schadenfreude.

Derby have spent £30million or so and still churn out dross like that. I'd much rather be a Town fan trying to do it the way we are

All they think they have to do is chuck an obscene amount of money at it & it's job done. Look at their bench today - Butterfield & Blackman, 2 players they paid £7.5m for between them & neither start. Their wage bill must be staggering.

Pretty feeble effort from Derby that. Hope Wednesday go up rather than Hull. I just can't take to them at all.

Still, the Derby chairman will be thrilled all the same. Remember he sacked Paul Clement and then went on to claim that he didn't want Derby to be promoted. Be careful what you wish for ...
