Yeah in that final, they just didn't turn-up. Hull just spooled them in, Wednesday were bobbins.

The sewing puns are flowing seamlessly on this thread. Threads a bit wooly though, needs embroidering a little. Someone will cotton on and unpick it.

Darn it!
Most of the material on here is being fabricated. It's not a patch on some earlier threads.

According to Nixon, Massive owner now pretty worried about infringing FFP. Fine he'll take, but embargo might be a bigger problem.

According to Nixon, Massive owner now pretty worried about infringing FFP. Fine he'll take, but embargo might be a bigger problem. Think it should be points deduction rather than/as well as fines or transfer embargo. That would stop it sooner.

I suspect this is the same reason that Derby have yet to make an addition to their squad this year. No doubt both clubs will blurt out rubbish about the squad being good enough even though they failed - again - last season.

Whilst I agree wholeheartedly with your suggestion, Reece, it would be like turkeys voting for Christmas and you can't EVER see football money men doing that, I'm afraid.

Surely that depends on whether there are more intending to breach the rules than adhere to them?

If it's the chairmen/owners setting the boundaries, who did they appoint to implement the punishments? It isn't "if" it's a fact. FFP was pretty much strangled at birth by the clubs. On the plus side, it has allowed DH much more flexibility to "go for it"

" Ever seen so many fat obese fans, when the cameras scanned the pig-pen all you could see were massive (sorry) beer guts and red bloated faces. "Who eat all the pies Sherlock?" Fat boy Tango's dad must have spread his seed far and wide, they all looked related - wonder the top tier didn't collapse at bouncy-bouncy time... " On the Blades Forum? ? Should have gone to Hereford!!

fans love it when a new owner comes in and changes the clubs identity. Hey, whats tradition got to do with anything anyway when you can look like ipswich. here's forestieri modelling the new effort, presumably just before he fell over and waved an imaginary card at someone.

That's poor, Leicester, Ipswich, Chesterfield, Gillingham, Stocky, Defo not Wendys.
Glad we didn't end up with anything like that, Sunday League kit.

That is a seriously poor effort. Where's the identity? If I was a Wednesday fan I'd be mighty hacked off with that strip. Blue shorts as well! That's worse than any strip Town have ever had and I've seen both the plain blue efforts in the 60's and 70's.

The last time they had anything like that was in 1962. Lasted for just a few games. Let's see how it goes this time.
