So good even Emile Heskey graced the A league. And then where did he go after the A-League? Is that also a reflection on the Championship too? Not really, unfortunately for Bolton there were no Aussies clogging up the message boards and consequently he was played too far back and that is reflected in his poor goal return.  |

I get it, Mooy is the most exciting talent we've had in a long time, it's what brought me to the forum as well but some of the posting in this thread is ridiculous.
Anyway, great cross from mooy for the equaliser, tidy header from Sainsbury as well. We should go on with it from here.

In my time watching Town ,50 years, we haven't produced as good a midfielder as Mooy. In other worlds Australlia have produced a better central midfielder than we have in 50 years. If anyone can name one better then I will doff my proverbial cap.

In my time watching Town ,50 years, we haven't produced as good a midfielder as Mooy. In other worlds Australlia have produced a better central midfielder than we have in 50 years. If anyone can name one better then I will doff my proverbial cap. Matty Young. |

Wow. Some exceptionally cringeworthy posts in this thread. I am a massive supporter of the A LEAGUE but seriously to say it's comparable to the championship is just wrong.
The League kicks off tonight so if anyone is interested judge for yourself.
Getting back to Mooy. He is a very good player and his spell here will determine how far he progresses.
With some luck you get promoted and he extends his stay.

Captain of N. Ireland - George Best's captain. Without Googling, I think he started out at Man Utd ?? |

I know full well Mooy is Australian and wasn't brought through by Town, do you think I'm daft or been living underground 😆 There was a comment comparing Australia bringing through Mooy to who we had brought through. I therefore suggested Marsden was homegrown (although turned out to be wrong there!). I then asked the last question, because I thought you may not perceive me as described above and as we know he played over in the UK when he was younger (i.e. I thought you may have been saying Mooy learnt his trade here). Anyway.....😆 |
