Should of been rested yesterday Put Ward in that situation i with the suicide ball. It was bad but this over watering of the pitch is seriously getting on my tits.

He's been shocking the last few games. He is constantly giving the ball away and seems to have lost the ability to win it back when he has done so.
Let's hope we find the old Mooy for sunday.

Mooy is nowhere near the player he has been for the majority of this season and I can't quite tell why, but it's really affecting us. I don't know if just having Colin or Nahki infront of him is putting him off playing it forwards but almost every pass goes either sideways or eventually backwards. Maybe now Izzy is back he'll find more passes towards the front lads. The tempo that he plays at has also dropped significantly, it's almost always him that's slowing the pace. Hopefully in these last two games he remembers how he used to play and sends us up. If not, thanks for a brilliant season and all the best.

I don't think he had his best game today tbh. Neither did Brown..maybe the occasion got to everyone.

He was enormous against the Massive, which I guess is why I was expecting so much more from him today. we had to play wide as a result which meant VLP and Kuchunga got all the glory.

Both play off opponents set up to stop us and both well drilled high quality players. Mooy was stretched to his limit against Bannan and Williams but just about edged both contests. The pass down the line home to Wendies and the skill to beat Williams and set up quanner were audacious bits of skill. If it's his last games for us then he ha done us proud.

Weird, I thought he was magnificent. Perhaps he wasn't as incisive as he could be, but he was all over the ball...

So happy for you guys! I watched every minute from Australia. We miss Mooy so much but I'm happy he helped you guys gain promotion. Whether you're a Melbourne City supporter or not, everyone here wanted Huddersfield to win because of Mooy.
Such exciting times ahead for Hudders. I hope you guys enjoy the celebrations and the experience that lies ahead.

Mooy has been a total joy. The boy is a winner. His self belief is incredible. His commitment to the cause this year also incredible. Mooy is everything I love in a player-talent, vision and the heart to match.

Mooy is a very clever footballer, he is determined, a team player with an incredible touch. One of my personal favourite ever Town players without a doubt.

Reading did an excellent job on mooy today. Had men on him all the time but he still made some space. Great midfielder. Best I've ever seen at town and him and hogg are a joy to watch

I thought Mooy was exceptional today. Town played a slightly different game today by sitting a little deeper and asked Reading to break them down. Reading struggled to create anything and a more clinical display by Town would have negated the stress of penalties. Mooy sat in breaking up play and then getting on the ball when needed in very little space(kudos to Reading for giving him not much to work with). Provided two clear cut chances today that should have seen at least one finished. Would have had more assists this season if he had better quality at the front to finish(sorry to be blunt but that's reality).

He might have a few days off and then back to Australia for a World Cup qualifier next Thursday in Adelaide.

I really hope we can get him permanently. He has been off for a little while now but still at the heart of the good things we do and is definitly Premier League standard. Its just a matter of whether he is playing with us or elsewhere.

I've heard (also been mentioned on here) Mooy returning is in place all agreed aslong as we got promotion...
In regards to his form.. He has looked tired recently. Maybe hasn't controlled games like he did but opposition are closing him down and 2 man marking lately. However he still fights for every ball and rarely loses it that easily. Maybe the Australian caps are taking the toll on a long season? All good and well been in 1st class but 24ish+ hour flights 3/4/5 times Will take its toll as well as 45/50 games for town.
I'd love him back.

What an outstanding season he has had. As the gaffer said he controlled the tempo in so many games, knowing when to speed up the game and when to take stock and slow a game down.
Heartiest congratulations from Australia. Imagine watching the Agueros and Silvas etc playing at home next season!
Sign up Aaron and the gaffer, and build the team from there.
All the best next season. It's going to be a helluva ride!

Hope Hudds get to keep him. Will also be fascinated to see who else Wagner brings in.
Erm...presuming Wagner stays.

Articles here in Australia quote his agent as saying City are selling. $15 million AU. Who is buying will be finalised within 2 weeks.
Time to start crowd funding....

Begs the question why did City sign him in the first place. He's definitely a Prem quality player but not top 4, most likely not even top half. As shown as he will most likely leave having never played a game. There should be a cap for the Man City's and Chelsea etc from just buying players to loan out. I'd hate being a professional and never getting any way near the 1st team

Buy a player for a pittance from one of their network clubs, loan him out to a suitable club so other clubs can see him perform consistently and then sell once his value has risen markedly. Is it right? Who knows, that's not for City to judge.

Is it right? Who knows, that's not for City to judge. Is it morally right to own a house you don't live in solely to rent it out for profit?

I think $15 million AUD is about 9 million of ya fancy pounds. Hope he stays with Hudders!
