If people wan't to listen fair does but stop moaning. Just glad i was not in the front lines with some on here. It would have been fine... If Radio Leeds had been I'm charge of comms we wouldn't have got the order to go there What?

did anyone (who could listen last night) notice Gareth Jones made a attempt to make sure McCormack was remembered by us as an ex Leeds Player when he scored? Why would he do that? We don't give a shit.

Thought I would listen to the Sheff Wed Leeds game on freeview. Cut out three times, about six adverts for the weekly pirate show or something and a preview of the ladies boxing final at the olympics. All during the first half. Now the commentary is back on, through someone's phone. Can't deny its a top service. Just so glad it's been gifted to Huddersfield in the long run. How lucky we are.

Radio Leeds tweeted that coverage of town pre match not on until 2.20pm, guess that's because Leeds game is on All frequencies today due to KO being early

I always defend the BBC in general and radio Leeds coverage of Town but this decision has infuriated me no end. However this week I bought a dab personal radio for 20 quid with perfect reception both in the car as well as walking to and from the ground. Only problem 3 aaa batteries had run down in about 2 hours but they were Wilko 50p for 4 specials.

Are we relegated back to DAB again tomorrow? Will my car journey home be in silence?

Don't think tunein works does it? I was under the impression it took the internet stream, which is turned off during the football.

On a serious note though, Radio Leeds decision has impacted me as I don't travel much away now and used to go for a walk and listen to away matches on my Sony personal radio that has MW and FM only!. Thus I have been scuppered here. Been having a nosey at those Roberts personal DAB radios but can't justify paying the money I don't think.

Why can't WY Police do something useful and force Bradford to play on Sundays, that would sort out radio Leeds problem.

Back on DAB again today. Top of the Championship and can't get proper radio coverage. Playing second fiddle to a League 1 side. Poor do.

Scum are going to be first choice on 92.4 We will just stay under the Radar, besides Oggy we are hated at Radio Leeds. Sadford are tinpot. Most of the true fans are actually at home games now. UTT

But where is the pre-match and post-match news? We had better coverage when we were in League Two. It just makes no sense.

Town are the best club in Yorkshire, its not just on results. Get behind the boys today. Fk Radio Leeds.

To be frank, in this era of 24 hour social interactivity, with the club and players tweeting, youtubing, instagramming and whatever else they do...is there any actual need for local radio coverage any longer?
Does anyone really want to listen to some folk guardedly ramble on about stuff that you've discussed to death all week already. Their opinion isn't any greater value than anyone else's, and they're limited in that there's no option to drive the discussion to an area that may interest.
The player interviews are all replays from earlier in the week and the team line up (the only info that we wouldn't already know before match day) is announced minutes AFTER the club has already made it public anyway.
People listen to the radio because of habit.
We should stop. Radio and largely uncontested opinion is not a medium for 2016. Editorial has to be so much more nowadays...you have to actually have an opinion and articulate it for starters. The radio guys can't stray too far from the box if they want their relationships to remain professional.
Nobody will care in 10 years....newspapers died, radio is next, arguably linear broadcast TV has already gone that way, barring live sport.
Let's have a vision for 2020...no Town fan needs Radio Leeds.
