Our last home game before Christmas. How will we do? Who's giving it a miss and joining the mrs or gf doing some xmas shopping? Chat away on this thread about this game.

im not sure. i think that its a little unwise to talk about the rovers game until we know what has happened on saturday. on paper though we should win and hopefully by then we'll have williams and worthington available.

I was expecting 6 pts from Southend & Leeds then for us to screw up all the good work in front of the home fans for this match. Now we've lost to Sarfend I expect no less than a winning streak right up to Jan 1st, when I will accept a draw against Forest.

I'll be there; it's a game we'll WIN. However ... We will have the usual pre-match conversation in The Peacock; you know the one ... "Shall we stay here and have a few more, or shall we wander up the road and watch that shower of sh*te? Ok then, get yer ..."

Need time to get used to this new board but well done for the set up. As for Saturday, that's the start of our season for me. He has a good squad to choose from, winnable games and some decisions to make. My team, lets try and play with Wallwork and Worthy in the middle and give Cadders the left, go for teams at home but tighten up away, still lost to look forward to.

As Jacko would say " It's a must win game"
Let's see the character of our squad and certain players.

After 2 heavy defeats in the last few days town will need to win this game. There goalscorer walker is still suspended for this game but with or without him a very important game. it`s about time town hammered someone so i`ll go for a 4-1 victory. ;D

Holdsworth RB Williams LB I thought Williams gave us a range of passing ans whipped in corners and free kicks that we have been lacking. I would play Cads instead of Schofield on the left, to give us a bit more pace. Jevons seems to be able to bring pleyers into play, but we still need more in the box once we have got it out wide, and someone from midfield on the edge of the box to pick up the loose ball. If we score early on Saturday, we will be OK. If they do, then it could be a long afternoon.

Who have the Gas got up front? Seems we have been a bit leaky just recently I reckon we will score a couple but at the mo that may not be enough....

The gas have nothing really upfront apart from Lambert who has scored 7 in the last 8. Stop Lambert and you stop Brizzle by the looks of things. We should be winning games like this
