BR are playing better that their results suggest, its one of them games that could go either way. I remember the last time we played them? there was some trouble, when there fans tried to get in to the LB lower tier. Gasheads or what.

don't get the MiniTerrier thing. Anyroadup, it seems to me the big thing is to get Worthington on the field again. Last year we averaged around 0.8 points more per league game when he played than when he didn't. Somebody said the figures for the year before were similar. And this year, although he's hardly played, we've averaged 2 points a game for league games when he's been involved and just over 1 point a game when he hasnt. So, if he plays against the Gas (?), I think we win.

Got to go for a win, 2 - 0 with Kamara & Jevons hitting the net. Should be a bit more solid with Williams & Holdsworth at full back, Worthington back in??

Was there a reserve game this week did worthy play?

Lets get holdsworth back in midfield where he belongs and was badly missed on saturday.
Far too often we got to the edge of the area and chose the wrong pass, went backwards or sideways and lost momentum in the attack.
Holdsworth's instinct is to play two touch pass and move football whereby he dictates the tempo.
He hasn't made 8/9 assists this season for nothing.
Move collins to rb if need be, but holdsworth must go back to centre midfield imo.

Collins at RB? Is defending really his strongpoint? Watch the 1st goal at l***s again.
Regardless, if Worthy is fit we need him back in the team.
I'd go along with Mr Geese's team.

I'd like to see AH and JW in midfield, think they could form a really good partnership. Especially if JW is 100% fit.

2-1 to town
just outta curiousity,we do have undersoil heating at the galpharm dont we?as obviously at this moment everything outside still seems pretty much frozen(where i am anyway)so obviously could maybe do with it being used if we have it to ensure the game goes ahead tomorrow

Isn't more the case that we need AH away from right back? Thought he was bloody useless at Leeds. Unfortunately though, he's probably a better option there than anyone else available for tomorrow's game. Therefore it has to JW and RW in midfield. In fact I'd go with Panasonic Geese's team. AR will probably start with Schofield, but his current form doesn't merit a start IMO.
3 points is the only acceptable outcome tomorrow.

Just realised that Walker and Elliot are out for them. If we can't beat them, they whole team should be called in for double training on christmas day! That'll get them motivated...

I said earlier on that town would win 4-1 but i`ve changed my mind. I now think 3-1. we def need to be better than the last 2 games. If rovers put 4 past us then it will be a relegation battle right till the end of the season.

I don't think collins at right back is ideal...but i certainly don't think moving holdsworth back to right back is ideal.
Moving holdsworth back to right back is a step back imo. Collins might not be a right back but he has played there before.
For me its a case of who is the better player in midfield? On this seasons evidence and form it has to be holdsworth.
For his stamina, positioning, breaking down attacks, retention of the ball, pass and move etc.
Lets not forget he has 8 assists to his name already...without any doubt at all holdsworth should be in midfield imo.
First name on the teamsheet - booth, second - holdsworth centre mid.

Greetings from the lawrence batley! Well its freezing and ive never heard our crowd as quiet! Bring back the south stand for home fans. Should be comfortably out of sight by now. They have never been in it. Williams looks assured. Goal a wallwork shot from 20 yards which took a big deflection. Not sure where cads is!

well that was a reality check... we struggled to scrape a win against an fairly average side. At least its 3 points but our lack of killer instinct is woeful.... No wonder the better sides in this division trash us.... On the plus side Williams is in a class of his own, Wallwork was quite inventive at times, Clarke was solid, Boothy kept them busy and Marvin made a nusience of himself but he was well closed down throughout the game...... nice sunset though.

Just in now, was a decent game that town deserved to win by the one goal margin. There was a fair few chances, collins hit a beauty from 25+ yards that hit the post. They had a one on one which glennon dealt very well with. Thought Clarke had a great game today!
the linesman infront of the kilner bank stand made a horrendous offside decision and then bristol went up and scored, a guy threw a coffee cup at him and missed from about 4 yards! Ref came over and gave it the the fourth official. some fans pointed this guy out and the stewards got him i think, so i doubt we'll get any punishment for it.
All in all a good value 2-1 home win that was nowt spesh.
