Unbelievable that some club are prepared to pay £25 million for Amavi. I wouldn't pay £250k on tonights performance Jesus - nearly gave it away. Making Hutton look like Maldini

How on earth did Roger East not see that handball? He was looking straight at it! Good job he's got probably the best linesman in England on his team tonight.

Villa will have to improve alot to make the playoffs With Bruce it could eventually happen. That's why I think the result was good for us.

Both teams looked piss poor overall
Leeds however do look somewhat strong at the back. Lots of fight. The promotion push for them is completely reliant on them signing Jansson on a permanent deal.

Before the game on Radio 5 they were discussing the best performong managers in this division.
Benitez Monk Bruce Then Andrew Townsend said "Dont forget....
Jaap Stam
Not one person mentioned Wagner or Town including "football league expert" Mark Clemits or whatever the ignorant moron is referred to. Utter pathetic bollocks from so called experts. No wonder Britains had enough of em.

If Reading drop points and we beat Blackburn that'll give us a comfortable cushion in the play offs and 3rd place.

Can see why they have taken to Jansson - has given them the character they lacked against us.

Lee Dixon remains one of the best for me, no Arsenal bias, just reads the game well. Sticks to the middle ground but at least he's consistent & probably knows that fans can't be arsed with 65 million different angles of each incident...

And I'd probably want to punch the radio if they start talking about town with their fake level of knowledge about what's happening at our club.

From what I've seen Leeds Are at best efficient and hard working but villa are just dire in the extreme.. Can see this being at least 2-0 now. Villa fans a bit pathetic too I guess you could say the same about Town really. although we do play some very attractive football as well. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought that was two relegation scrapping teams in the first half. I actually thought Leeds played quite decently in the second half though. I must admit I thought Monk wasn't cut out as a manager, but fair play he somehow has got them looking up. Villa lose Kodje for a little while now, looked a poor team tonight mostly.

We get mentioned more in the German or Australian media than we do our own! It's not necessarily a bad thing though, everyone just thinks we're an inconvenience that will go away eventually, by the time people really notice what's going on here it'll be too late!

Unless my memory is playing tricks. Might even been his first game. Was his first league game. Jansson has been the turning point of the season for them. Let Bamba go and loan Jansson from Italy. Was it Monk or Cellino? Either way it is proving a great bit of business. Then Wood has remained fit for the first time in years and doing well.

Villa have some very good players, they look unfit, uninterested and without a plan.
Kodjia, Ayew, Adomah and Grealish all have 5 minute spells when they look top top class. Chester, Hutton, Elphick and Jedinak are all quality defenders individually. Then they have Mccormack and Gestede.
Can see why they are capable of doing as well as they are while playing shit.

Kodjia, Ayew, Jedinak and the left back were all awful. The rest not a lot better. Says everything when Hutton was one of their better performers.
Leeds were dreadful first half. They upped it in the second but that didn't take much doing against a very poor Villa. Leeds had more heart, that's all... Villa had none.

Villa looked well short of being a top six side on that performance. They just looked an expensive set of individuals, although they did look better when (the underrated) Gestede came on. £25m for Amavi must be some sort of joke however.
Leeds should really have seen that game out - it was a stupid goal to give away.

How many times in the second half did Leeds play that ball between the left back and the centre half?

Yes sorry Hughton was considered the best of the whole year, ie end of last season and this which is difficult to argue with. They spoke plenty about Holloway as well. It would be nice however if someone employed to analyse this division actually took some time to do research rather than just mention the obvious few managers and biggest clubs.
