No 1st team squad players were involved in the 'B' team game which has just ended in a 1-0 defeat against Wolves at JSS in the Premier League cup tie.
Between Wigan (Dec 3) at home & Shrewsbury away (11 Jan) Town have 11 games in under 40 days which includes the busy festive period.....Fingers crossed for tomorrow night & no more fresh injuries.

Eight of the top 11 play each other tonight in the rearranged games, leaders WW (also stands for win, win) host Mansfield, Brum travel south to Exeter hopefully to continue recent L1 slump, Wrexham v Lincoln & Barnsley v Reading are the other two.....WW plus 3 draws pays 80/1, add Town win 170/1.

I doubt it, because they’ll somehow wangle themselves out of legal problems and will make a few big signings again. No way their owners will allow this fall from grace.
The thing is, they’ve not won for 6 games, which in normal football is a bad run, but in the media obsessed big 6 this will be dramatised and analysed to stupid levels…

I honestly believe that City are paying the price of their obsessive desire to pass and recycle the ball, watching them all the time would be more distressing to me than watching Town. I think that it's why Foden, Grealish and Walker are now fighting for their England futures

'B' team are in action today at Canalside (ko 1pm) against Bolton Wanderers in the central league, not sure if any 1st team squad players will be in line for a run out but MD said in his PC that they would not be having anytime off due to our early departure from the FAC & training right through.....Free entry for all, so anyone going keep your ears open for any gossip, especially on the injury front?

One of our drivers has been driving, er sorry, PARKED there since this morning. Lorry carrying sawdust set on fire too. Totally shut motorway eastbound. |
