Joke of a penalty given there. Almost as bad as the Arsenal one earlier

Watching the playoffs now with my eldest “why don’t you like Peterborough”
So I showed him the 1991 (I think) game where they made it 2-1 with a few minutes left in front of the open end.
A glutton for punishment today 😂

Sac Republics game finished all square (1-1) a couple of hours ago, leading 1-0 (33 min) when Kieran Phillips was introduced from the bench in the 63rd minute only for home side Phoenix to equalise 2 mins later, but Sac do stay unbeaten......Now your up Kev you may as well get everyone down to canalside & start sorting EVERYBODY out, from top to bottom.

Tight at Wembley to see who gets into the league. Bromley 2 Solihull Moors 2 going into the last 10 mins. We’ll be one division above one of them next season

Congratulations Bromley, I’ll go see a game there, not too far. How to Bromley compare size wise to the likes of Sutton and Boreham Wood? I’ve not been to Bromley but I’d say they are better set up for life in L2 than Sutton United were. SU had to rip up an artificial pitch which cost them a lot of money and lost them revenue. SU’s ground is poor for the EFL although they built a decent away end after promotion. Bromley’s ground I know to be much better. Their support is comparable to Sutton’s (Sutton and Bromley are near rivals) but I think Bromley have more potential. Boreham Wood are an odd club, generally disliked because their support is tiny and they are considered to be “dour”. I’ve only been there once and it’s a good ground, plenty seating and a good covered terrace one end, open the other. Their pitch is magnificent, all paid for by Arsenal for their women’s team.

I think they said at the end of the game that Bromley will need to rip up their 4g pitch for League Two football

It’s crazy that you can use a plastic pitch in the champions league but not the football league. A lot of non league clubs have them because the local community can use them on non game days to earn extra revenue.

I think grass is so much better than even the best artificial pitches, but ripping up their artificial pitch and laying a new grass pitch cost SU something like £800k, not forgetting the £3-400k they made each year from hiring out their artificial pitch. SU are sticking with the grass and have said they want to return to L2 ASAP. They’ve got a chance I reckon.

Boston United won promotion back to the Conference yesterday.
Who else was there on that Sunny August day in 2003 for our first away game of the season. Can't remember much about it apart from standing behind the goal and Sodje's bandana.

Took about 4 hours to get somewhere that looked 80 miles away and they had a hilarious group of pubescent “ultras” screeching quite polite insults at us.

The bit I remember most was sat in a beer garden and giving twos when the Everton first team coach went past. Never occurred to me half pissed why it was in Boston ?. Mondays examiner had a picture on the front of 12 dodgy looking blokes dressed as women coppers and in the match write up thanked Everton for lending Town their bus because ours had broken down . Doh.

Lovely here in the northern part of the midlands and hoping to see a Spitfire Flypast in an hour or so. That's my plans for the afternoon gone now.

Crawley fans will have travel difficulties due to the M25 being closed next weekend at J10. They couldn't have made it a 3 o'clock kick-off because... Television, much as I enjoy football on the telly, absolutely snookers so many fans. Rescheduling for tomorrow night is great, sensible, as good as you can get at short notice. Saturday NIGHT makes things needlessly tricky!
