Could do with Bolton getting going here. Don’t need them hanging around next season No. Plus I'd quite like us to sign Brannagan which won't happen if Oxford get up. It won't happen if they don't

Did we enquire about Josh Murphy once? Looks decent!

Giving Bolton and Oxford benefit given its a play off final and a lot at stake for them but Christ it's poor. Now 2:0. I remember our PL playoff was really poor, we didn’t get going and Reading had more chances. Scared to lose because of the huge prize. surprised that Bolton are 2 down already though.

Not having that. We missed two sitters. Poor game, but we were by far the better side and should have won it twice over in 90 minutes. Reading didn't get a kick until the dying seconds.

Bloody hell, Bolton are nearly as bad as we’ve been, belting it up-front to a single target man who’s got no almost no chance of getting past the Oxford defenders.
By the way, have Port Vale kept Moore after their relegation?

Having been to both Oxford and Bolton I’d take Oxford as a day out any time. Bolton don’t even play in Bolton, the grounds miles from anywhere, shit day out.

Murphy absolutely running Bolton ragged. Should have a hat-trick.
Simple football from Oxford. You know that Bolton have to push forward, so you leave a man on the shoulder of the last defender. He's been more dangerous on his own than Bolton's entire eleven.

Richie Anderson was warning him off being so cocky that a Bolton win was a formality. Should be interesting Monday morning listening to the aftermath with Anderson's West Brom losing too!

Oxford are playing some very decent football. League One has come a long way since we're last in it.

Fortunately for OUFC, the "best left back in the Championship" is an Oxford boy and almost certainly available for a modest consideration...

There was a match at Leeds Rd where someone had to wear the black and yellow chequered away Town kit but can’t for the life of me remember who it was.

Oxford's keeper hasn't needed to get his shorts dirty all afternoon. Bolton have offered absolutely nothing.

Bolton played like a Town DM side there. Oxford closed them down early to stop their plan A game and there was no plan B. Very poor. Shows that putting the effort in and wanting it more counts for a lot. Bolton supporters already sulking their way back up the M6.

Glad Oxford won, fully deserved it too. A club on an upward trajectory the last several years and it continues with a head coach born in the city. Fans will be loving it.
