That's some resignation letter from Lee Mason. Brighton ask to take the free kick. Mason steps back and blows his whistle. Brighton put it in. Mason disallows it. Then gives it. Then VAR disallows it because Mason had blown his whistle again after the ball was kicked about 6 inches before it crossed the line. If you see it from the angle of the keeper on the post, he blows his whistle, they take it, he blows again and it goes in. Looks like he's said yeah, take it, without looking at the keeper, then thought, oh fuck. To me it should have been a goal. Then Mason should have apologised to the keeper for being incompetent.

Anybody in any other profession in the world as shite as him would be sacked. Simple.

I've never seen a side miss as many chances as Brighton. Another sitter missed, as well as the pen 1st half.

That block from Saiss on the line looked suspiciously like it was his arm that kept it out. Yes it was in against his body but surely when it prevents a goal it has to be given

IMO should be a pen and no red if on target (similar to what we were saying about accidentally taking someone down).

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56224827This incident was bizarre. When you saw it was Lee Mason it sort of made sense. Brighton feeling that a footballing injustice has happened here, maybe it has? Had they been 10-12 points clear of the drop would there have been this furore? Doubtful. Maybe this is the moment that they'll look back on and consider it the start of their demise? Thing is, what goes around, generally comes around, but when you're at the extremes it just gets amplified.

This is everything that is wrong with football, i felt sorry for the referee, he made a genuine mistake, you could see him struggling to comprehend what he had done. He gets surrounded by players screaming and shouting and every so called expert laughing at him. And the definition of irony in all this. The Brighton players moaning about it, yes thats right the team which missed 2 penalties and a number of quite easy chances, but no-one confronts them about that

He was fucking hopeless when he reffed us at the Dingles years ago when he only gave decisions to them.

So Hudson-Odoi panics, handles the ball and VAR and the ref watching it on the screen decide it's NOT a penalty 🤔

So Hudson-Odoi panics, handles the ball and VAR and the ref watching it on the screen decide it's NOT a penalty 🤔 It's a top 6 handball, score is level, a very different decision had to be considered and made? Burnley or WBA etc it's a penalty. Refs are making decisions given the circumstances of the teams involved and the circumstances of the actual game itself, var doing the same.

So Hudson-Odoi panics, handles the ball and VAR and the ref watching it on the screen decide it's NOT a penalty 🤔 I think the ref made the correct decision. In my opinion it comes of Greenwood's arm first and if you watch the replay, not a single Man Utd player appeals whereas several Chelsea players appealed.

I thought it came off Hudson-Odoi's hand and onto Greenwood's arm. I was waiting for Tuchels response after throwing Hudson under the bus the other week

How was that not a goal to the Blades? McBurnie was offside but he never touched the ball.

Sheff U have spent alot of money (£110m+) since they got to the prem but they're stinking the place out nearly as bad as we did in our second season.
Spent over £50m on three new strikers but their top scorers this season are Sharp & Mcgoldrick.
Ramsdale £20m?
Wow!

They don't get one tenth of the shit we got from the pundits, quite rightly at times during that shitfest of a second PL season, despite being an absolutely fucking wank side full of League One cloggers and journeymen.

They spent more, have a higher wage bill (over 40m in their promotion season from the championship) and have fared the same as us. But they're not Huddersfield so it's fine.

Just watching MOTD2. Paul Barnes' lad stretchered off in a leg brace. Bad news for Leicester and England with the form he's been in.

Looks like Moore's first decision as Wednesday's manager was to make the Hillsborough pitch smaller.
