The gate receipts will be peanuts and financially it is one of the worst clubs to be drawn at. Now if it was Arsenal, Manure, you would be talking at least a million pound in gate receipts. Town will get around £100k in gate receipts if its a sell out at the stated prices. Plus £90k for winning that's a nice little chunk of cash for the club. Chances of a big draw are much greater in the next round so what's the issue? |

buy tickets from rochdale,there will be plenty left,can even supply you with an ol postcode and pickup

To JGT; The A58 and the A627M aren't connected so I'm a bit puzzled. But if you're coming past Oldham I'd advise you to put your foot down and get past it as quick as you can. You should be fine coming in from that direction, but going home you'll be in for a wait. Local nous to avoid it is go via Castleton A664? which we know as Manchester Road. You can access this road via the A664M off the A627M on your way in which will avoid the notorious J20 exit.
If you end up on the A58 you're on the wrong road and, God forbid, might end up in bury. This will be very bad for you, so map your journey.

It seems Rochdale are struggling to get anywhere near 3000 sold. Bradford don't look like they'll be taking more than 2500, as they have to pay to get in at Oldham and Oldhams support is pretty poor. I wonder if we'll have the most fans over that way on Saturday.

Anyone know what return fare via Manchester is on train ? I don't, as I'm coming from Batley which has a direct train via Brighouse. Stops at every tree up the Calder Valley, mind. If you're going that way and watching the pennies, splitting your tickets at Todmorden saves about 50p. I'm sure you can manage to look the fares from Manchester up, though you're doubling back if you go Hudds-Victoria-Rochdale so you might HAVE to split tickets- journey planners might try to send you through Leeds or Brighouse anyway. |

Anyone know what return fare via Manchester is on train ? Fare changing at Victoria is £15.30. Changing at Halifax/Mirfield/Brighouse (whichever connects best) is £10.70. |

You can catch the 901 Huddersfield to Hebden Bridge bus at th Coop in Marsh at 11.14 on Saturday. If you get off at Ripponden at about 11.45 you will be able to catch the X58 from Halifax to Rochdale at 12.15. The 30 min delay is a bit inconvenient but there are a couple of nice Cafes / Pubs near the bus stop. You will be in Rochdale at about 1250. I don't know the fare - I have got a senior's bus pass.
If you need a return, there will be regular half hourly buses from Rochdale bus station to Halifax ( you will be able to catch the 1725 from Rochdale) and then the 503 Halifax to Huddersfield which will take you to the bottom of Imperial Road. I think the whole return journey takes about 2 hours!

The 901 bus to Hebden Bridge starts from Huddersfield Bus Station at 10 past every hour on Saturday morning. Perhaps you can get a bus from Fartown to the Bus Station to catch it there - save you walking to Marsh.
Alternatively, you could walk to The top of Blacker Road and catch any 503 bus to Halifax Bus Station (every 10mins or so) and then the X58 to Rochdale. There is one every hour, leaving on the hour.

You could catch a 360 to hospital and walk to Marsh on the plus side it's down hill from infirmary as opposed to up blacker rd |
