You know why we don't need a plan B? We're 5th in the league on a tiny budget. Our plan A works. Ok, your post tries to be well reasoned, to give off the impression of rational thought. But whether you've overthought it, or think it right - it's wrong. that's not the point ..we're in this position now but we want to stay here we don't want to blow it at this stage all I've said is I can see certain sides working us out now ...having lots of possession doesn't win you games ! Man City had 71% possession against Everton yesterday and lost 4-0!

We need to move the ball quicker in the final third. Òther than that I think we are generally performing to our best ability.

To be fair, despite people thinking the OP is piss taking, he actually raises some genuine concerns, although the 'cracks' comment is Bollocks. The over passing is an issue for me I find it highly frustrating at times and after going behind we don't seem to know how to turn the game round. Genuine concerns for me too. Genuine concerns ? What position in what league would we have to attain before Arterrier stopped having " genuine concerns " about a team that is higher up the league than in any time in his lifetime ? That means you must have lived your life with " genuine concerns " .. life's too short .. enjoy the ride and stop biting the Wednesday WUMs bait

If we could sign a decent striker in this window and sometimes look to play more direct rather then possession football it might make us less predictable . That said were having a great season and long may it continue ...I guess I'm a perfectionist. Roll on Ipswich we go again.

We're in the playoffs and its mid Janurary. Our expenditure will be three times (and the rest) less then Wednesday, Derby, Norwich and more then a dozen other Championship sides but we are competing with them all week in, week out.
Wagner has done a fantastic job so far.

How close was Saturday though? Great effort by Town but we failed to take our chances. Both Wednesday's goals shouldn't have happened if the ref and his assistants had been up to the job

I like the passing. Much under-rated part of the game. I also love the fact that it winds up the, ahem, more traditional fan....

The player I think we missed on Saturday was Palmer he works well in the area in between half way and the opposition box and is strong enough to hold people off

Before I start I'll get the usual suspects calling me a Wednesday fan blah blah blah . Right this might seem strange because I Personally think we've had a decent season under dw but recently I think cracks beginning to develope under his watch. I went on Saturday (with Wednesday fan) and whilst we had the better of them in the first half I just think we totally and constantly over pass the ball in key situations. I also think that when we go a goal down we don't seem to have a plan b whatsoever ..it's like we have got to score first and it's becoming a concern . We def need a striker but nothing seems to be happening and yet again I'm having to go back home and have Wednesday this and that pushed in my face. I'm annoyed yet again. Deadly serious question and I hope you take the time to answer. If this is your view of Wagner, I cannot even begin to imagine what your view of Powell and the football played under his watch was?, so please tell me.

Sometimes there is more than one way to win a game and sometimes we don't appear to realise that. There is nothing wrong with mixing it from time to time should the game dictate. Come mid March it'll all be about results and not really performances or passing it a zillion times across the park before mounting a foray into the oppositions half. Sometimes you just have to win the game by any means possible.

Am I missing something - aren't we 5th in the Championship with 20,000 every week, a manager who has turned down last season's Champions League quarter finalists?
I mean dilly ding dilly dong come on!
We wear teams down - some call if over passing. Its no coincidence that with that and pressing and fitness we score a lot of late goals.
But as for turning a game around, I've never felt more comfortable with a Town team that will take a knock and come back, won't panic, lose faith in what we're trying to do or revert to kick and hope (I mean in our general play ie minute 1-90 rather than when we switch to intentional plan B which is a separate plan of attack)
Yes at times we're a bit too slow to start attacks but it needs that sometimes, its a patience game, a bit of cat and mouse at times, pick the right moment.
But that aside we play slightly more 'direct' second half - it may be a subtle difference you don't see very clearly but we have less passes and less posession in second halves than first halves, we play behind teams more.
I would like us to be bit quicker at times and have a stronger option upfront - that may already exist... Kachunga is a striker who can play wide not the other way, but I don't want to change how we play. That is what we are!

Recovered from the embarrassment that was your play-off final defeat yet Buzz?. Just think, you could have been playing all those Premier League Teams this season (clearly none of them though are as massive a Club as Wednesday, the biggest in the land). Apart from the fact you didn't turn up and lost
