Wednesday's wums are so transparent - posting history is there for all to see.
It was a pretty pathetic attempt - It took him 48 hours to remember his password this time!

No wonder he was dick-dancing about for 2 days then - he'd be desperate to post. I can just imagine it. Now let me see, "12345"... nope! "password"... nope! "qwerty"... nope! "MASSIVE"... bingo!

I love the passing style, keep the ball. Stretch the opposition have them chasing around all over the place tiring themselves out. Pick them off when they are dead on their feet ten minutes from the end. Give me this anytime over the full back knocking aimlessly down the flank usually going out of play and hoping we pick up something, spent last 35 years watching that at Town.. nah give me this any day. The very fact we are disappointed with a defeat at Sheff Wednesday having controlled the first half, conceded a wonder goal and then had a soft red card against us, well it sums up how far Wagner has dragged this place forward. To think of the money spent sat down there watching turgid percentage football 'setting up' this way and that and being conned by 'football men' who hopped off the merry go round for the honour of managing HTFC only to actually just churn out the usual guff... let's be grateful for the huge progress and pride that DW has instilled from top to bottom (not seen an overhaul like it since Buxton) - and it ain't stopped yet !

I guess me banging on about some variation at times in games is merely countering the banging on about possession at all costs??? we are not far off.. which is often harder to take than being crap... better overall but still hard..

Whilst we don't have a bigger man upfront or even Scannell to a lesser extent, we are left with pretty much one way of playing, albeit we generally do it pretty well now!

I was more thinking of different approaches with the players we already have. Just for periods in games, maybe a few long ones over the top or down the sides early doors saturday, catch them out a bit??? and repeat a bit later etc.. longer stuff only looks awful when the team doing it have not worked it into their plans beforehand or they persist with it when its clearly not working? gayle at newcastle always makes the run when they have it deep.. he knows where to be, they know where he is, its not obligatory to play the ball but you can? we will fool a team one of these days..

Bunn's goal against Port Vale was the kind of direct play we can add more I do agree..whilst not being a hoof up to a big man in the traditional sense was created from a nice direct ball forward from Mooy over the top for Bunn to run onto and then have the pace and inclination to drive forward and stick it in the net, i think this kind of play becomes more of a feature as teams chase the game at the same time they are tiring. I agree with a lot of the calls for more clinical shooting in the box and I think that is something that will get better to be honest, I think of VLP, Palmer,Bunn, well anybody really the way we play.. all bombing in at various times and with more composure and better technique we'd have undoubtedly scored more and settled games earlier. I think it'll come. From my earlier post I was merely stressing that i like our current style far more than the percentage game of old and this season sitting in bigger crowds for less money, meaning I have more chance to bring family, and then after all that watching a team that is comfortable on the ball and has belief.. its actually annoying to think of at the wasted time and money watching dogshit football at sky high prices down the years listening to drivel from the latest manager on the radio afterwards.

Before I start I'll get the usual suspects calling me a Wednesday fan blah blah blah . Right this might seem strange because I Personally think we've had a decent season under dw but recently I think cracks beginning to develope under his watch. I went on Saturday (with Wednesday fan) and whilst we had the better of them in the first half I just think we totally and constantly over pass the ball in key situations. I also think that when we go a goal down we don't seem to have a plan b whatsoever ..it's like we have got to score first and it's becoming a concern . We def need a striker but nothing seems to be happening and yet again I'm having to go back home and have Wednesday this and that pushed in my face. I'm annoyed yet again. Any comments on this weekend's results?

My favourite bit is them wanting to be refunded by the players for losing to Brighton away. These guys could actually be more deluded than Leeds.

Come on PenistoneHudd, tell us about your Wednesday mates. Are you giving them grief about how they ended Bristol City's 9 game losing streak and how we just played Brighton off the park?

Ah but the season was a marathon not a sprint Penistone. At least you had the last laugh, take some comfort in that

All he needs to do is look at the championship table and then the premier league table, then do us all a favour and fuck off back to owlstalk with the rest of the suicidal deluded big headed c****.

They will still think they 'should be beating teams like Huddersfield'...not being in the same league and losing games anyway, is a mere detail.. on another point, does Barry Bannen think he is fooling anyone with his ridiculous, bald covering hairstyle? is this the 'new Bobby Charlton'??

Owls talk wasn't polluted with town WUMS but we had about 6 of the little parasitical clowns over here every week last season.

A bit of schadenfreude now and again doesn't do you any harm. All things in moderation.

What is your favourite memory of being an owls fan?
Losing to Uddersfield ont pens in the play offs.
Or
Being dicked 4-2 in your own backyard by your fiercest rivals.

This thread is hilarious in hindsight. Wednesday WUM comes on after we lost 2-0 to an (in fairness) impressive Wednesday side, saying we don't have a plan B if we go 1-0 down. We go on to go 1-0 down in the playoffs against Wednesday, and come back to a) beat them on their own patch and b) get promoted to the Premier League. Wednesday are now falling apart in the bottom half of the Championship and Town are sat comfortably in the top half of the Premier League.

Or who you beat in an epic, schadenfreude-filled penalty shoot-out along the way. 'Obsessed' though? Give over. Obsessed would be creating a user account on an opposition site and spending several years pretending to be one of their fans in order to troll them. This is just laughing at their expense and there's nowt wrong with that, IMO. So long as we're big enough to handle it when we're on the receiving end.
