expect around 23,300 or so, 1,200 short of full capacity due to segregation and the Sky TV 'studio' located in the Kilner south end. i dare say newcastle could have brought around 10,000 for this if we had the capacity. Can't imagine the noise in the stadium with the FML full of away fans like Newcastle's and the SS full of the barmy army aka the NSL... maybe one day ? Yep, one day soon.

Another tier on top of the south stand would be the way to go. I can't see us ever needing more than the best part of 30k.

Peter b made a sly comment about Wagner stating that Tin Tin won't mind the one match ban because he was defending in his club and players and not gonna be disrespected. Tosser

I'm still wondering why anyone would go on another fans forum to give people stick. It looks like he's had enough responses to sift through for one day but if he comes on again maybe I'll just tell him to FOOK off, no one on here gives a sh1t about anything except Town. He had been pretty decent until that post and it's not really that antagonistic.

Credit where credit is due Mick is working his way through these posts and responding positively I hope his team dont show such resolve tomorrow I came across as a prick which wasn't intended when I created that poorly worded post which has been rightly picked up on. Back to tomorrow, Gayle is fit and travels, I don't expect him to start other than on the bench. Are you at the game tomorrow Mick ?

Unfortunately not, I'm the only with a season ticket who I go to the games with as the others have just got club memberships so I have to wait until they go on sale to members which didn't happen for this game. I do it this was so that I'm not on my own when we all get tickets but it doesn't always work.

Think ideally we could do with the south stand extending so we could have a big away following behind the goal and the NSL. As a larger single tier 'Kop' style yes, not as a replica of the FM stand !

Even though we made 9 changes midweek against Shitty I think Newcastle will come to harass us and give us no time in the ball just like shitty did, wish led to us giving possession away cheaply on numerous occasions.

I'm signing off soon until after the match so will give my thought on Newcastle and the game tomorrow.
I am far happier before playing you than I was before we played Bristol last week because we'll almost certainly be up for this game. I can't tell how we'll play as we don't really have a set way and that's because every opposition team is different. We haven't lost in the league since the first game of the new year and our worst performances are in games we're expected to stroll through. We sometimes come out flying and that's why we have two of the quickest goals of the season and we've also scored 10 goals after the 85th minute so we can score at anytime. A misleading stat is that we don't often come from behind to win games, that might be because we are behind in games on average only 13 minutes per game and are in front on average just under 45 minutes per game. We have the best goal scoring record in the division and we have our top scorer back who will probably start on the bench and we have the joint best defence in the league.
Atsu is getting more time on the pitch and he's spreading our play because we now have Ritchie on one side who is class and we have Atsu who is fast and had a few tricks, he's usually but not always good when retaining possession going forward. Shelvey has been our best player earlier in the season, when he's marked out of the game we've started to cope much better and others have stood up to be counted as can be seen when Ritchie made that pass for our second goal on Tuesday.
Our defence can be good for 89 minutes of the game and drop a right bollock when they switch off. Lascelles can dwell on the ball at the back as he seems to bottle it when he has the ball at his feet and he would rather give it to somebody else than run with it and create space for others. Darlow is OK in goal but he's also made some mistakes lately. Dummett isn't the best with the ball, he can make some really good timely tackles and he might end up playing in the centre of our defence long term, you could get something from him. Yedlin is quite good as he has a lot of pace and that comes in handy when we're looking for somebody at the back to make a recovery.
Colback is diabolical and one of the worst midfielders in the league, he's always one tackle from a card because he can't tackle. He can't tackle, he rarely makes a forward pass and he'll often run around getting into positions where the ball is never going to go. If he does get the ball you can be fairly confident that the ball is going in the direction of our own goal more often than not.
The team I would put out would be.
Darlow Yedlin Mbemba (will be Lascelles) Clark Dummett Shelvey Ritchie Diame (may be Passback) Gouffran (May be Murphy) (bring on Gayle if we need him on 60 minutes) Perez (may be Diame) Atsu
I don't think we'll show any signs of being under pressure and I wouldn't be surprised if we have the same scoreline from Tuesday. I don't know how you feel about Rafa, my thought are that he's currently the best manager in this division by miles. Watch him when the balls out of play and you'll see how involved he is in managing us during the game. He doesn't rant, he doesn't throw his dummy out, he is so calm it's unbelievable and I think that comes with experience and it rubs off on our players. Don't underestimate the job he's done since taking over from McClaren, he's changed virtually everything at the club for the better.
I would settle for a draw and would actually take a defeat if Brighton lose to Forest because we'll beat Reading next week and I've always had a soft spot for Huddersfield. It started when I was kid and just loved the badge, is that a sign of stupidity or childishness?
Hopefully it's a good game between two good clubs and two good sets of fans who deserve better than they've been used to for a while. Hopefully the fans get on well together and enjoy a good day out. I've only been to your place once for a league match and it was a fantastic day, some of you might know why it was so good.
No team gets promoted or fails to get promoted tomorrow, I do think that if we win tomorrow we'll go on to finish with a healthy lead by the end of the season over the team who finishes 2nd.
Enjoy tomorrow, I will, no matter what happens.

Anyway may the best team win, as long as it's Huddersfield I wont have a problem.

Moaning and whinging to the 4th official about everything, red faced, flapping his arms about and generally looking like he was about to have a coronary. The fact he has such an enormous financial advantage over all his competitors, yet is miles short of coasting the division, shows he is nothing like the best manager in the division. Him and Wagner started at their clubs at more or less the same time... so give him what wagner had to start with and the money wagners had to work with, and see if he'd have his team in 3rd pushing for automatic!! Don;t think so somehow!

Funny you say that, during this run I've had a feeling how each game would go, even to the extent I've been asleep and woken up thinking that Brown has scored, checked twitter and there is his big mug and grin with GOAL plastered less than a minute ago. The feeling has been right every game this year. Against Newcastle, I've got this feeling that the score will be 3-0 at some point to Town, Mooy has a belter, scores at least one and possibly a brace, I'm having trouble trying to hold down this feeling as it seems too good to be true.

I've come to the conclusion that it is a good game to win, but not a disaster if we lose by any means.
No pressure, and as DW says play with freedom.
We're a good team, there's plenty to respect in the opposition but nothing to fear.
The crowd has been the best I can ever remember at the John Smiths, I think it will ramp up another notch tonight. Make us proud again.
