What are the likely dates for the playoffs semi finals this season?

Already mentioned on a thread a couple of weeks back but in summary nobody knows. It's something like any time between 12th & 22nd May or something daft. Sky.

Thanks. Sweating a bit. Got tickets to see Micky Flanagan on 16th May. You can bet it will be then.

I'm in Leeds on Sat 13th for boxing at the arena. Gonna be a fun day if we've played the chestwankers that day...especially when Josh Warrington walks out to the ring to Marching On Together!!!

Going to be a mad scramble for tickets. Allegedly only getting 2,000 should we face Wednesday.

I woke up with a horrible thought this morning - we could finish above Leeds for the first time in donkeys years, but then lose to them in the play-offs. <<shudder>>

The way we have been playing recently i don't think we need to worry about getting semi final tickets.

Might end up being irrelevant based on today's (non) showing.

We are, at worst, 7 points clear of 7th with a game in hand. No one in the play-offs is showing any sort of consistency at the moment - Leeds lost 2 on the trot, Reading just had 7 put past them, Fulham got beaten comfortable by both Derby and Wolves and Sheff Wed have won 1 in 5, and that was against Rotherham.
We're going through a dodgy spell but so is everyone else. Some people need to calm down a bit.

Yes they do. I agree. Fortunately I'm not one of them. It was a bit of gallows humour after today's game.
I'm glad for you that you're not concerned, though. Onwards and upwards.

I'm starting to get worried. I've got tickets to see John Bishop at Ossett Town Hall on 10th May & Take That on 19th May. I'm preying if we are in the play offs that the matches won't be on those dates!

It's tough being a supporter of Town at times and a lot of us who have followed the team for the last 40 odd years are willing the club to get a crack at the premier league. Having witnessed good times and a lot of bad times since the last time we played at that level,it's expected that we are all getting a bit nervy towards the end of what has been a stand out season in the championship for Town with the prize of a place at the top table within reach. Results of late against teams we are now expected to beat haven't materialised, and the frustration is building amongst fans, totally understandable. We still have some seriously tough games left and no guarantee of winning any of them, there is no doubting the ability in this side but for whatever reason we can't manage a game when the opposition use tactics alien to how we expect them to play!! Fingers crossed we will get the wins to secure a spot in the play offs then,it's a lottery between the 4 clubs I think we are the best football side in this division what we do lack is game management during a match and this is something that needs some work on from coaches and players alike.Onwards and upwards UTT.

We will need to be much stronger in play offs IMO. Wendys have a very strong team, Fletcher scored again to those on here who says he's poor ? Silly comments.
We only have Wells.

I woke up with a horrible thought this morning - we could finish above Leeds for the first time in donkeys years, but then lose to them in the play-offs. <<shudder>> In accordance with the weird logic that associates itself with football, I would like to think that we can benefit from the "lightning doesn't strike thrice theory" and overcome you lot in the playoffs. Similarly, deep down, I know that Sheffield Wednesday will probably dick us on the basis that we have done the double over them. Whatever, the prospect of the play-offs fill me with dread. Can't help thinking that Jordan Rhodes' name is going to feature prominently in the story. After basking in the (hopeful) satisfaction of finishing in the top six, I may well buy a tablet and sleep for three weeks and then enjoy my summer.

They may have beaten us in the last 4, but if we're on our game, there's no reason we can't win over 2 legs. We're above them in the table for a reason.

I don't fancy our chances in the playoffs with the way we are playing. I can't see us beating Wednesday, Fulham or Reading over two legs, although we have more chance with Reading. Leeds don't worry me over two legs, but would in a one off game.
