The problem in the playoffs is we are quite open to a shocking performance now and again. With us frequently winning by a single goal if we don't turn up first leg it could be over before it's begun.

The feeling is not exclusive to us though. It's nailed on that last night in a pub in Sheffield, Fulham, Reading and L66ds they are stating the same thing. "Don't fancy playing Udders, just got a feeling they could tear us apart" If we're on it, WE WILL GO UP.

Is semi final A usually 3rd vs 6th? I would expect so but would also like confirmation.

Night match at home for the 2nd leg would be special if we finish 3rd/4th. Unless we've already been thumped 5-0 at Fulham.

Bollocks, my last night shift on tue the 16th may. Could really do with finishing 4th so the second leg is on the Wednesday.. Plus it would probably mean avoiding Fulham or Wendies in the semis.

Is semi final A usually 3rd vs 6th? Police usually have a say. If it was us and Leeds, I'd expect it to be the sunday rather than Saturday.

If we get Leeds it will be the second leg where there is issues. Someone isnt going to be happy, especially if its the away team that goes through be that us at Elland Road or them at our place.

What's the deal with the league 1 and 2 dates this year? They're usually split out so you can catch every game on tv but they've put the semis on the same date and time. Bizarre.

Yup, disappointing this, I tend to watch all the second legs and pick and choose the first legs, especially where we've been involved you get really into watching the high pressure football day after day. This approach seems to devalue the play offs somewhat, and am surprised that sequential viewing of all the semis is not enshrined contractually...ALTHOUGH, it's Sky that lose out on placement revenue, not the team or leagues, so I guess they take the gamble that people will only watch the team they're interested in and there's little crossover. League 1 looks really watchable if things pan out as they stand....Bradford v Scunny in one, and then the potential for Millwall having to do it on a late Sunday evening in Fleetwood with likely very poor backing. Not sure Luton will relish a first leg Sunday 630pm KO away at Carlisle either! Surely it would make huge sense to make that a midday or early afternoon kick off if it pans out?

Is there 2 Mickey Flanagans then, a funny one as well as the curly haired cockney twat that somehow gets on telly ?

Regarding them not spreading the L1/L2 semi final legs out, I think the issue is partly that Sky had to rearrange a few PL games that have had to go into the final midweek of the season, meaning that they'd almost certainly end up either clashing with a PL game or clashing with the other semi final. Normally they do spread it out as best they can, albeit not always easy depending on circumstances.

I'm away from 7th-14th May so in addition to missing last home match I might not make the home semi final either depending how they pan out, have to wait and see. I'd be amazed if we slipped below 6th by end of season.

Is semi final A usually 3rd vs 6th? I would suggest that the tie A or B matches will only be determined once the matchups are decided otherwise they would have put 6th v 3rd and 5th v 4th instead of A and B. I'm sure the FL/Sky/police will get together before an announcement is made. E.g I don't think WY police would like a Town at home to L666s tie to be played at 5.30pm on a Saturday.

Probably won't affect us that much as we'd need to get the ball into the box in order to trouble the system. Defensively we might need it, mind ...

Am I correct in thinking that we have never won a home semi-final game in 8 attempts? Shocking stat if true and we certainly need to break that hoodoo if we want to reach Wembley this time I think.

If you've got Sky+ you can watch one live whilst you record the other. Switch over to the recorded one at the final whistle. Only problem will be that Sky will likely flash up the score of the other match during the game.
