Category 4 for me. So most away games for me will be streamed onto my 60" tv I guess. That Chris Powell season off has proved costly with this and the loss of £100 cashback. It was still chuffing worth it though To get a backdated fair system was never gonna be easy. Surprised there isn't a special category for anyone who can sing Lionel Richie's back catalogue though Hello! Is it me you're looking for?

Oh, thats good then..thanks. Can the admins lock the thread, can Sean remove the youtube video and can the club cancel the scheme...apparently not needed. Are you on drugs? We get 2/3 thousand tickets...we were taking that away every game last season. Has the 20,000 season tix passed you by, the 40,000 at Wembley? Unless you priority 1 you wont get tickets. Priority 1-3 combined is around 8000 people maximum (think it was down to about 7500 season ticket sales two years ago). Demand for away tickets is typically around 10-20% of home fans wanting to go to any given game...let's call it 30%. 30% of 8000 is 2400 people in priorities 1-3 wanting tickets to a typical game. There's another 12000 regular fans...of which 3600 might want to get a ticket. If 3600 apply for a ballot, then almost 20% of those fans will also get a ticket. So...pretty much everyone in priorities 1-3 will be able to get to MOST games that they want to....general punters who have just bought their first season tickets are likely to be able to get to about 5 away games if they apply for tickets to all of them. It'll be skewed, it's going to be difficult to get tickets for perhaps 6 teams (I suspect Everton might not have the demand of the other top clubs...we've all been there recently, and it's a dump and a pretty horrible view)...but most folk will be able to get to the games they want to, just like they always have....actually, make that Palace will be high demand simply because it's the first game. If we were away at Palace in February then we wouldn't sell out. Seems odd to bleat on about not getting to games when nobody has tried to buy a single ticket yet! It's just going to be the same as last season in reality. How many away sell outs did we have? Championship...now Premiership. Like the income explosion there is an INTEREST explosion. Every away game will sell out. Nobody beyond priority two will get a ticket. Your figures are out. Add in the fact away tickets are capped at £30. Did you not listen to Sue Beaumont say we now had fans with season tickets in Australia? Last season i went to 3 away games....this year i will go to at least 10 and each will require a flight.

The clubs made a massive mistake bringing loyalty into it. A massive mistake. Surely the idea is to breed loyalty, This one club, everyone pulling together, welcomimg new supporters etc ect and suddenly your not worth shit, Categorised from 1 - 5.... from super supporter to is that some shit on my shoe supporter. Worst thing is, it wont even matter, ill get tickets off someone whos a priority 1... like everyone did for the playoff, so even priority 2 folks have been shat on as well. Poorly conceived system that has obviously caused bad feeling and will be circumvented at will. Every supporter should be treated equally.... fairly and certainly not descriminated against for breeding the next generation of supporters. Id told the youngest he couldnt have a liverpool goalie top, it had to be town, but seen as though my 38 years of support isnt in the loyal category ill get him a liverpool one with ward on. You can at least console yourself in the knowledge that you're taking the news well. You could say with dignity, class and respect

Seen some right numpties out there!
Saying they should be rewarded even though they turned their back on the club when we were shite. If you miss a season because you choose too then thats your fault (if its circumstances its bad luck but dont have a go at the Club)
Seen some saying 1 point for home 2 away - that'll never work. Club have said they dont have the data, cash on the day, club doesn't get any money for those.
Ive even seen one, kicking off who managed to get some Man City tickets and sold them on the black market!
It alll seems like if it doesn't suit you, then lets kick off!
We have just got into the Premier, got the chance (twice) to buy cheap tickets, as it stands we are 4 or 5 in the spending table, even got some money back!
Sorry but FFS -some people need to just grow up, get on with it we have a superb club run by superb people
Just glad we arent being charged 800 like them down the road in the Champiship for away games
Rant over

You can at least console yourself in the knowledge that you're taking the news well. Or that ill just use someones priority number.... like 1500 other folk will. That falls down on the assumption that you have friends.

Seems Deep Space and Space hardware who liked this are in Outer Space. How long did it take you to think up that little gem? Anyway, you've missed my point totally. If you look again, what I'm arguing is that I think the number of eligible people in the top 3 groups may not be that huge, & it doesn't matter if they buy tickets for themselves or next door's cat because they still only get one. Of course it matters. What is the point of a system if people at the top of the pyramid buy for someone else? The people in the top three will be virtually everyone eligible...thats twice as many as our average allocation.

Another thing ... what all this about catering for fans in Australia? One of the reasons I didn't emigrate was the thought of not seeing my beloved team... they're part timers imo

I'm in same boat, assumed we'd be in cat 2. But no complaints from me I'm in a similar situation, slightly cheesed off with myself because as i read it i could have joined the B&W Foundation at any time up to Wednesday and been in Priority 1? Me and mrs both in the "loyal 4000" but no B&W or TOT, so cat 3, kids are cat 4 and 5... so will be fun trying to get 4 together. Will try ballot. Shame, but genuinely think they've tried to be fair, so no complaints from me at all. Glad we got to around 10 away games last season though, those memories will live forever, what a season!

Yes, sad as it may sound, the main reason I'd not consider living abroad is Town. Always book holidays in the off season, and moan like mad/try get out of any wedding that crop up on a Town game day.

I fall into P3 no complaints from me. Surprised by some and their overreaction critising the club saying they have not rewarded loyalty. By my reckoning they have give nearly 500k back for the 10 years of supporting the Club. And getting a season card in the prem for 100 quid! No one has been banned from getting a ticket and think the ballot idea is a cracker. Not sure how it will work but a good one. I'm sure not all P1 and P2 will take up the tickets so am hoping i get the chance but i know a P1 person and will ask them to get me one if they cant go - simple Let's stop the moaning!!! Agree that P1 and P2 and maybe P3 will take all the tickets and dish them out to who they want.Although West Ham Monday night etc. wont sell out

Looks like everyone who was displaced is a priority 1 even without super priority, contradicting their statement/release.
If (SM) at the ticket office is to be believed.

Can we have an agreed definition of loyalty? How can we compare and categorise loyalty when we are all so different, with diverse lifestyles, incomes, circumstances and locations. I think that this system rewards continuity and and forwards thinking rather that loyalty. In my eyes, if you support and follow Town whenever you can, you are a loyal supporter! I hate anything that puts individuals into specific boxes and makes assumptions based on insufficient information. Furthermore, I abhor people comparing and contrasting supporters and making a mini league about who is the most loyal. Saying that, can I think of a better system? Probably not.
