I get the impression we all are decent fans who have followed the club mostly through thick and thin. Not being rude but come on boys and girls just accept what's happened this club is fantastic, let's stop acting like we are the only people who support this great club. I'm priority 4, by the way and would love to go away. I'm off to Bury today to enjoy my 2nd away trip this season, just apply if possiblecandctakecitvon the chin like a true Yorkshire man / woman.

huge changes, huge strides made very quickly.. not a lot of time to re arrange everything that needs it.. Im working on the principle that Dean will sort it and it will get more acceptable to more fans and hopefully that means we still have the problem of over demand because we are still in the top division..
If I dont get a ticket for Anfield or Old Trafford, I will cough to it on here and folk can have a laugh at me wasting all that money over the years etc..As I said 'hopefully' I get another go next season, thats more important to be honest..

I went to probably 15 away games last season and didn't even know the £20 thing existed! Paid on the day usually and only couldn't go to Wednesday in the playoffs (although did go in the league). My own fault, obviously, but I do think using the £20 to gain priority next season is a little odd. Nor did I - and my attendance was almost all for away games, as I live a long way from Huddersfield, but rather closer to a lot of the teams we played last season. I never felt the need to see if such a thing as ToT existed, as I have never had a problem getting a ticket for a Town away game when I wanted one in many years of watching them. I have seen Town play at about three dozen current Premier and EFL clubs (plenty of them several times over), plus three now in the National League, and a couple of Premier clubs at their former grounds. I suspect Town may feel they have an obligation to those who paid the £20 last season, because it's pretty clear that it was a waste of money almost the entire season, expect for one or two matches. For a long time I have tended to buy a ticket if I was 100 per cent going to go to an away game, so have a 'booking history' but there have been a fair few other games where it was a last-minute decision, when I would check if I could pay on the gate, then just turned up. There was also the Birmingham City game in October 2012 when I didn't open the envelope from the ticket office until I was on the train into Birmingham and found Town had sent me a ticket for the game at Peterborough later that month... a £20 note got me in to see Beckford score the winner at St Andrew's. Some of those calling for a system based on 'points' for away attendance seem to be forgetting about those places it was possible to pay cash on the gate, so there won't be any record of some people's attendance - and I didn't pay a penny to see the game at Oxford in 2003, as I knew someone who knew someone at Oxford United... A points system would probably be okay if we had been in the Premier League for a while and subject to limited ticket allocations over several years as a result, with everyone needing a ticket for away trips and all transactions recorded - but we weren't, so some other method has to be used. Whatever that system is, someone won't like it, but the club isn't going to change it because of people claiming here that they are more entitled than others, for whatever reason. I was at the Division 1 game at Highbury in January 1972 and had a child's home season ticket for 71-72, went to watch the now almost legendary game against Port Vale in September 1979 after my father had been to the first few games and said he thought they 'might do something' that season, and was at both matches at Northampton in 2004, among others, so have pretty much seen the lot over the years - oh, and I was sharing a house with a Man City fan in November 1987 (still have nightmares about that kit) - but certainly wouldn't expect any special privileges as a result. If it has to be TV most of the time next season - would be great to get to some of the matches in London as it's so close but really don't rate my chances - so be it. It is still hard to take in that after 45 years we really are back in the top flight and signing players for multi-millions.

I previously gave a detailed explanation, which you have skirted; so in summary. We had an option of ToT to guarantee an option to buy away tickets early & expected to pay every year, but the club appear to have pulled it due to criticism. If you choose not to spend that £20 or you didn't know about it what grounds have you got for complaint when season tickets are reduced by hundreds of pounds? I couldn't complain when I loose the option to go in the SS because I didn't, know about or, respond in time for ticket trade! Why does Terriers on Tour have anything to do with season tickets being reduced?? the 2 things are nothing to do with each other!! I chose not to spend the £20 because i didn't need it. I knew id still be able to go to just about every away game that i chose to, and i could. You act like you knew buying it would also give you favouritism in the extremely unforeseen event of us going up. The connection is, money saved on season card is money I am happy to pay out on football in alternative ways, e.g. I offered pay for a season ticket for a skint regular, my 99 refund can go to charity, the ToT fee & even a scam to New Zealand. Yes, I paid £20 on the off chance of significant cup run or play off games! After Sheff Wed away I could see the potential & 1st time priority did not have baggage in the package. A no brainer for me! Edit: I usually pay on the day away, would only not do if the risk of missing a ticket was greater than risk of not going. So little away history & I have got it wrong previously, ending up in home ends or missing the match after driving.

Some serious sour grapes re ToT. The club clearly thought there was an issue with tickets, they believed we would sell out some away games. Therefore introduces a priority system.
If you didn't pay 20 quid you don't place much importance on getting away tickets. I'd of paid 200 quid for it and not thought twice even if was never used. I wouldn't have taken the risk, there was no scheme that could have come out I wasn't Top priority and suspect most of P1 are the same.

Congratulations on your foresight. It was a no brainer not to get a ToT last season because there was little/no pressure on away tickets. I'd be surprised if anyone bought one on the chance of being in a better position to get away Premiership tickets. If so hope all had £20 on Town getting promoted as well which would have paid for a couple of seasons worth of season cards 😀 If it was unnecessary, why did people buy it then? Why did I factor in away ticket priority when subscribing to B&W? Clearly with the benefit of hindsight, the notion that not getting TOT was a no brainer, is incorrect. Well done to all those that took a punt on it, it's paid off massively for them. DM me next time you have some foresight and I'll get mi wallet out. I tried to get White Rose Membership before the play offs for this coming season (for the car parking as I need something a bit closer to the ground) and an added attraction was away seat priority but they shut the thing down and wouldn't let me in!

It's a funny world. Last week on thus very forum, some folk were arguing with me. They were criticising young people for having a 'culture of entitlement. I pointed out that young people nowadays are massively disadvantage compared with when I was younger. They disagreed and, being the utter hypocrites that some of them are, seem to be saying that they should be entitled to away tickets and tre club are a disgrace and it's soured things for them blah blah blah. I'm priority 4 and I don't care. I love the club and probably always will. I don't expect anything from the club and am just happy at the wonderful atmosphere at games and being able to afford to go (which has been a problem in the past). Some of this'd moaners are exactly why, in the last 37 years since I was16, this country has. Evoke a more selfish, angry and bitter country.

It doesn't mean they don't place importance on away tickets.

I think you are misjudging it a bit - most on here is good natured banter and discussion, with a bit of expression of feeling - more or less what you would expect on a football forum. DATM probably represents a couple of % of the club fan base. Don't think you can really see it as a representation of the "country" tbh.

Was it in the ToT small print last season that you would be jumping the queue for away tickets in the Premier League if we got promoted?

The club introduced a cheap, affordable option for getting ticket priority last season. I've been in the blue and white for years, for many factors but one of those is to safeguard ticket priority - even though it has hardly ever been needed, but it gives you peace of mind for some fixtures where we know we will take a few (Leeds for example). The TOT scheme was initially unfair in the way it prioritised over Patrons and B&W, but this was rectified within 24 hours. Some people sensibly took up the TOT offer as quite clearly the Patrons & B&W don't suit all. The option was there for every fan to buy it - to give them peace of mind on away tickets - for a measly £20. If you couldn't bear to part with £20 - when you are a regular away supporter (where the cost of a day out is significant, then you're daft / too tight for your own good. Questionable anyway, BUT, irrespective of that, it was a membership scheme for LAST season. People who had B&WF membership last season and cancelled it aren't getting prioritised this season. That is the obvious mistake. Last seasons TOT membership should have had no bearing whatsoever on ticket priority this season. You must be able to see that surely?

Of course it does, those fans made a financial commitment to the club, in return for ticket priority. That has now been recognised in this years scheme. 6,000 didn't fork out for TOT last season, and never would have done - so it's completely irrelevant.

Do you think anybody that joined B&W last season should be removed from P1 as well?

In a way it's a shame loyalty is being defined based upon financial commitment when there are so many other factors that should contribute to being considered "loyal" to the club. FWIW, I therefore think some recognition should have been made to those fans that donated significant money when the club was at its lowest ebb and in administration. But, hey ho, they've chosen not to do so and at least my name is on a plaque in the club offices somewhere!
