The club don't know I went to more than 18 away last season, but they do know I place a priority on going away because I, like many others, opted for one of the 3 priority offers. Added to 10 plus years of season tickets that makes me priority 1. Some call it being smug, I call it being sensible, to accept the club plans instead of criticising them. They have business to run & from what I can see are doing a damn good job of it (nice as shirts as well, even if they do have a shit plastic sponsor stuck on)! I'll continue to criticise the club where they deserve criticism. And this is one. They should've had a system already in place and they've shafted many fans by not having one in place. As ever, the club just come over as inconsistent and unprofessional on occasion. See the launch of the new electric hoop kit. I have nothing against those who could give 10+ years buying season tickets being at the front of the queue or those who have had BWF for a long long time. But one season of a £20 membership - doesn't cut it for me and many other people. Oh and the home shirt is horrible. As I said to someone else on my away purchasing plans this season: "With all the flack chucked at the club I will buy online to build up history & try to sell late if I can't go. I will be accused of trying to either profiteer or stopping others who want to buy. But, when people criticise the club for ToT & it's pulled they need to realise the possible consequences of their complaints. Life's a bitch, deal with it."

Why should those who have had to move seats be given priority over everyone else as well?

linkInteresting to see a different priority system, I don't know how they get their loyalty points, but ithe name suggests it's for being loyal to the club, which our priority system clearly isn't

ST holders always had priority over members. Therefore STs didn't get loyalty points for home games only away games. Members got LPs for home games, 1 for Cat A, 3 for Cat B & 5 for Cat C. So if we reached any semi finals/finals, the ST holders (19.5k) would get first crack at the tickets & then they went to members (60-100k depending on if we were in the CL!) based on the number of LPs. The same for away allocations. Only 2 away games went to members last season from memory, Boro & Sunderland. In seasons gone by members generally had a decent shot at 5-7 away matches, particularly if they were midweek. They haven't told us what they are doing for next season yet.

So...on day one of these sales, you must be a home season ticket owner AND have bought at least one hundred away tickets in order to buy a ticket for the away match at Town. They reduce the cut off figure as sales progress.

Both of the above systems seem fair to me.

Im just really pissed off that I've been able to go to Fulham v Town with a good group of about 10 friends for the last few years. We've no chance next season now

But instigating a loyalty programme for next season based on away attendance this coming season isn't going to be fair - it will naturally favour those who purchased TOT in 16/17. Exactly the thing people are up in arms about.
I do have a problem with the "Well I'm the most loyal as I've had a season ticket for 27 years continuously, so I should have first refusal" argument. How can you say an 18-year-old who has held a ST for 'only' 4 years, and travelled home and away in those four years, is any less loyal? We've got to consider relative age.
Finally, has anyone considered that the club might be trying to shape the make up of the away crowd? The away support was (rightly) talked up last season. Many from the club went on record saying how important it was. Surely, they'd want to continue that for this season. Doesn't it make sense then to tailor the away allocation to ensure those that the club deem to be the most vocal / supportive are there each and every away game?

First come first served. Everyone has a chance that way Let's say the club went with first come first serve and it turned out that all the tickets for a big game went to brand new season ticket holders who only signed-up this year or last. Would you be happy with that outcome? Not trying to be confrontational here as there's genuinely an argument for making it first come first serve but you could end up with lots of bandwagon jumpers getting highly sought after tickets. Through this system there's at least some degree of loyalty reward. FWIW I'm a 10-year season ticket holder (18+ years to be precise) but I am in Tier 3 as I have never been a member of Blue & White, Patrons or ToT. Tbf id of made you priority six - no chance of a getting a ticket.

I have been reading this thread with interest & in particular the much maligned T.O.T scheme. As a bit (a lot) of an anorak i thought i would do a little research on the subject at hand. I fully expect to get royally slated & told to keep my nose out. I'll take my chances. It appears to me as an outsider this TOT scheme was introduced to perhaps try and halt a slide in year-on-year declines in HTFC's sway attendance which had slumped 42.7% from a 2011-2012 average of 3969 to 2275 in 2015-2016. It seemingly did not have the desired effect as the your average 2016-2017 away following slipped a further 4.5% to 2172 or -45.3% vs 2011-2012. Therefore, the average away attendance over the last six seasons has been 3128 which is just 4.2% above the 3k Premier League away allowance. However, i can fully understand that the 2172 & 2275 Terriers that followed the team during the last two seasons feel that they may/could/are likely to unfairly lose out on tickets to the 'big' games next season. I would probably feel the same way. I am in no way trying to draw conclusions just passing on the information. For the record - 2011-12 = 3969 2012-13 = 3897 2013-14 = 3847 2014-15 = 2609 2015-16 = 2275 2016-17 = 2172 Hopefully i haven't pissed anyone off. Certainly not my intention. One thing you have done is reminded me that I have a member reference at Spurs as I went against Crystal Palace about 3 year ago.If if comes to it would you see any issue with using it to buy a ticket when we play at Wembley.

I have to ask as to why these people never joined the foundation? If they attended half the away games last season they paid a great deal of money into other clubs but didnt 'invest' in ours whilst thousands did? Just to pick up on this point, I dont agree that B&W Foundation Members get priority over SC holders who don't pay in. Personally I don't pay in. I think with SC, Kits for the Kids, other Merch etc I spend quite enough of my hard earned money on Huddersfield Town. I fully understand the money helps the club, and hats off to anyone who does pay, but these people CHOOSE to do it, nobody is forcing them to. For me, length of SC should be the only deciding factor 10+ Years - 1 9-5 Years - 2 4-3 Years - 3 1-3 Years - 4 0 Years - 5

Maybe you meant but think thatd be better for those who missed a season somewhere in the middle.

Town are certainly getting top marks for reacting to feedback. Just makes you wonder if the ATT forum is functioning as well as it could be (be it fair representation, or the club not consulting enough)

The terms and conditions were there in blue and white. I paid for next season in full before I knew whether I would still get any priority by the way. PS. I also have a ten year season card. Lucky me.

Like most things you hear about on the news when people have been "consulted"... where do they get them from?

Expecting some might miss out on the home friendly vs udinesse, sure that'll be the start!

For me, length of SC should be the only deciding factor 10+ Years - 1 9-5 Years - 2 4-3 Years - 3 1-3 Years - 4 0 Years - 5 priority because the club promised it.. you buy a shirt you get something, nobody forces you to buy a shirt. We started paying in and got nothing but a promise(the club had nothing else to offer at the time), even when it was very rarely needed..Guess many bought many shirts as well plus many season cards.. It was and still can be a choice that people make.. If the club promise priority for shirt purchasers then fair enough.. If they remove the priority from the foundation then Dean will have to spend money better spent elsewhere.. We did it to help save the club, thats not the case now but it does put in money that saves the club cash.. Depends on wether you think priority is a bigger evil than Dean finding the cash required??? It could always been closed and re started if and when its required in the future.. I quite like the idea that Dean holds to the promises made.. He will stop making them now we are in the big league and a different system will be employed from next season. The buying of away tickets to 'gain points etc' is only the same in reality and will mean just as many miss out etc.. over demand for the numbers is always going to cause disappointment..

I was on the front row of the middle tier. There was no barrier and only a small ledge between my seat and a fifty foot drop to the lower tier. I was trying to celebrate a goal while clinging onto my seat, feet dangling, a cliffhanger type pose. I knew I was dreaming though as it was Mark Hudson who scored the goal.

That's a fair compromise imo. Well done Town for listening and making this welcome change for the 10 year brigade. There will still be others who feel put out but this was the biggest single issue and it's now been addressed. Happy days.
