Ah..back in the days of late LC, Powell and Robins..,yes, and I stand by those remarks 100%...and all the other comments I made about pricing, ticketing, football tactics, lack of effort, Clibbens price inelasticity (?) and the general direction the club was in, and the falling gates as a result - happily everything I said then has now been addressed in the exact way I said it should be...and you, and everyone else, are reaping the rewards ! Even Dean has admitted it was 'dire'...so no apologies from me . Thank you for reminding me of my wisdom from that time...(although there were others who thought the same tbh) without the actions of us do you think we'd be where we are today ? You can thank me later.... Maybe you should be pushed up to P1 (alongside the idiots and people with empty lives) for your sage advice. I'm glad to see you think that...you've no idea the sacrifices we stay aways made on behalf of the future of our club...the prelude to Deans ' We needed something different' -on appointing Wagner, 'SC holder numbers were dropping and we needed to address that' ..and 'we needed to review the pricing policy for games' .... So while you were sat glumly staring into the humdrum of meaningless football, 'we' were doing something proactive... voila !

I suppose one man's heroic freedom fighter is another man's keyboard warrior firing off insults at supporters who have the temerity to attend games and support the club. I suspect your mission to get higher priority is unnecessary anyway, a couple of defeats early doors and you'll be sulking at home again.

Genuine question here.
I'm a 10 year + season ticket and have put in to B & W for some years so presume I'm P1 for tickets.
Does that include my daughter who's a junior and got her first season ticket last year? So I'll be able to buy 2 tickets based on P1 and not just 1?
Thanks

Thanks My understanding is that she is also classed as a BWF member - but she hasn't had a season ticket for 10 years, so no, she wouldn't be P1.

I was told otherwise by the ticket office. But have since been told it defo is a family package

I was was waiting for dying grannies taking so long to pass on and dogs being ill with large vet bills, abducted by aliens and passing agrophobia setting in..

I suspect your mission to get higher priority is unnecessary anyway, a couple of defeats early doors and you'll be sulking at home again. Not sure 'keyboard warrior' is the right term tbh, I haven't insulted you or sworn at you or queried your character - you brought up the quotes for 2-3 years ago, not me. However in retrospect you may have a point that I may have been a bit OTT then, for which I now apologise . As for me 'sulking home again' ...(which does sound a bit keyboard warrior-ish) ..as far as I'm concerned it's mission accomplished so why would I not now go to the games ? I think this exchange has run it's course now, and fear others will be getting bored with this off topic diversion..so I'll back out in true style simply by saying Sean did reply to my request for a re-think but politely declined with a mild promise to review the away ticketing process again in a month or so. Enjoy the season.

Yes they do. I was told otherwise by the ticket office. But have since been told it defo is a family package I knew that children were also classed as BWF members, but I assumed that the children would have had to have held their season ticket for the required length of time as well, but you've obviously been told different. That will affect the number of people in P1.

Yes they do. I was told otherwise by the ticket office. But have since been told it defo is a family package If that is the case then there is likely to be even more demand at the first priority level for tickets.

I think it doesn;t include kids. You have to qualify for cat 1 to get cat 1, on a one ticket per cat 1 person basis id imagine.
A B&W member might automatically have their kids included in the B&W foundation along with them ( people are suggesting this is the case ) , but to get into cat 1, they'd also have had to have a SC for the last 10 years. Thats what the wording of Cat 1 says IMO.

You can add your kids to B&W as its also the only way they can be mascots but it has no effect on away priority.

Interesting scenario - right or wrong, I am priority 4; right or wrong for a whole variety of reasons, my away-travelling mate is priority 5.
Like a lot of folks with mates in different priority levels I will not be able to buy until his level comes around - has it been stated anywhere if the higher priority levels will have a cut-off date before any balance of tickets being available to the next rung down ?
If so, gonna be one almighty mess as to whether to buy or not .....

Even buying in the same Cat as someone else the chances on getting seats next to each other are non existant though. Only ballot winners will possibly be able to get consecutive numbered seats. Its going to be 1 huge clusterfuck.

Supporters in the same priority bracket can book for their mates. Hasn't this always been the case? They need to add their mates client reference onto their online account. Obviously they both need to be eligible to buy at that level. If they are different levels they can do the same but will have to wait until the lower bracket is available to book.

For the games that are likely to sell out should the ballot be restricted to current season ticket holders only instead of allowing anyone with htafc online booking history access to it?? Will be hard enough for priority's 4 and 5 without adding more people.

Given the increased number of priorities, people with kids who are B And W, people buying for people in a different priority category I really do hope the computer system will be well tested to ensure it can handle all the different options available - I seem to remember that towards the end of last season online tickets started to be sold from 5 30 in an evening for away matches - obviously a time when I guess there is no one around to sort problems

It's a bit of a bugger that the first away is Crystal Palace - a London away day is always a good one + first game of season (great memories of Blackpool away) + first game in Premier League = pretty much zero chance of me getting tickets. An alternative way does exist - it's not cheap for a Yorkshire lad, probably not too bad if you're on London wages. Palace hospitality packages - still availability, but they will sell out soon. The package vs Town is half the price as the same package vs Chelsea. And you get to book the trains before the mad price increase once the away allocation goes on sale.

If they were third party selling sites like 'get me in' selling at inflated prices they wouldnt be getting a penny of my money irrespective which end it was in.

I was certainly able to buy a ticket for him (as well as me) last season when they initially went on sale to TOT, BWF & Patrons.
