Not sure if this has been covered previously in this now somewhat interesting thread, but he falls into the category of player who stepped up last season in the play offs and put both his penalties away, and ultimately the reason we're all here today.
Lowe-Wells-Mooy. That's my tattoo, ink it
Edit: Ward too

Mooy will be involved in World Cup qualifiers against Japan and Thailand on 31 August and 5 September.
If Australia finish third in the group which is where currently are, Mooy will be up for at least two and possibly four more qualifiers against an Asian and Concacaf opponent.
Keep your fingers crossed it doesn't come to that.

Has exceptional endurance. Twice now he had covered the most distance on the pitch with well over 10 km's.

aussie here
during the last euro cup I was watching ozil and was frustrated by his game (I'm german heritage so they are my second team) and I said I'd prefer mooy over ozil and kind of got howled down
Since then it became a bit of a joke rivalry on aussie forums between mooy and ozil. One poster even has as their sig a picture of ozil winning an award with mooys face plastered on it.
Anyway if someone could have a sign with "Mooy-zil" on it that would be awesome :-D (p.s. when do you guys play arsenal)

Has exceptional endurance. Twice now he had covered the most distance on the pitch with well over 10 km's. I was astonished when on MOTD2 they said Mooy had covered more than 12km. Think average in Premier is more like 9-10. Put that in context of Sir Mo winning the 10km one weekend and not being quite recovered enough to dominate the 5km the following weekend. The most important thing for Mooy must be recovery this week. We need to look after him really well - good job Premier League games are pretty well spread out. Hope the Aussies take good care of him on international breaks. What an effort by the lad. Bet Pep is having second thoughts! How much was the buy back clause?

Jamie Redknapp's comment in this morning's Mail 'The Verdict':
"Ace Aaron Aaron Mooy's display for Huddersfield in their victory over Newcastle was the best midfield performance so far this season. Mooy is the thinking man's footballer. He ran the game from start to finish and capped a perfect day with a great goal."

Controversially I actually thought that Mooy had a fairly quiet game by his usual excellent standards. Billing probably had more impact on the game (goal aside, obv).

Unfortunately because most pundits were wrapped in their PL bubble, they wouldn't have noticed. Well done Aaron Mooy for attracting everyone's gaze towards HTFC.

Whoever wins. The last bet I had like his was that pilkington would score 10 goals in the premier after he scarpered to Norwich. It was long odds. I think I bet something silly like £100 and it paid a few thousand. Pilks was indeed class that season. He scored 9 and missed a penalty on the last day of the season! 😩😂 Just to confirm it

Quite right. Did you make this bet with an idea he might not actually be at town? I still think it was a good bet. I think he'll get 5 for Burnley.
