If true, I'm glad Nahki has signed and it puts to bed us selling him. I look forward to Town announcing his contract extension, I guess they have delayed it so it's another announcement for the sponsor to get its name in lights. I agree. There are though some right numpty comments re Nahki in this thread. The Lad has worked his socks off last season and been a key Player for us. Some Players who based on not signing a new contract just give up. Oh and for the uneducated, he could and would score more goals if he played in a Team where all he was being asked to do was effectively 'bog-line' and nothing else. At Town under Wagner, every Player is asked to do that bit more (a key reason why we got promoted). Nahki tracks back (at the request of David Wagner) and plays his part defensively. He also chases the ball and doesn't just wait for it to come to him. Yes he doesn't take all his chances but have some on here ever though atleast he is getting in to good scoring positions?. He developed last season after only one full season with Wagner and his coaching Team and Nahki will only get better. A great signing this if hopefully he stays. He's been replaced though, not by one, but by two players. We only play one striker. At the minute he's third choice. Its the squad position Jason Davidson has as a left back.

Third choice striker is very different to third choice LB. The former may get on the bench most weeks, with a chance of coming on, whilst the latter is waiting for loss of form or injury to even get a sniff.

I think Wagner will make judgement calls based on form and fitness, and the new signings will take the pressure of Nakhi ...so let's wait and see. I think it's good news if he has signed a new contract.

Not sure hes been replaced. Only seen you tube videos of the new two but they look totally different options. I think he will be first choice some games 3rd choice others, he will probably be first choice to come on and play off one of the big men if we are chasing the game. You have to remember our system means that the press starts high. Nahki has improved at this no end, the others will take time to bed in.

They play different roles/styles, the 2 big lads will be inter changeable as will kachunga and wells. I think we need to appreciate that that Wagner will need to be more flexible in his tactics as we will be against some of the best teams on the planet. I can see away from home, especially, a lot of formation changes. Horses for courses.

I also had earlier posts in mind, my point being that it is too early to make judgement calls about player rankings as such. Wagner will be making these judgement calls, not DATM, of course.

Maybe, I also see another winger coming in and it pushing kachunga back into his preferred role of striker.

Having 3 different strikers who all play in different ways and all have the potential to play together offering different threats could be the difference between us staying up or going down. I for one definitely wouldn't be selling Nahki, especially now we have 2 'target men' for him to play off.

Lie a little strong I did put a wink to soften it slightly, seems it was missed. ;-) ;-) ;-) Lie isn't a little strong, because it is a little lie is it not? Or shall we call it, pulling yer plonker(which is still a lie)

As the op on this thread It looks like ive been proved correct. Wagner says wells is up for sale. After watching mounie and depoitre last night theres no way hes getting in our match day squad assuming no injuries.

They would however listen to serious offers,as with any player I'd imagine. Don't twist it
