Today was one of the most gutless negative performances i have seen from a town team for a long time , and amazingly none of our players looked like they had any sort of a game plan or motive
This could have been the turning point in towns season , and we all know what this town team are capable of especially remembering the Bournemouth home performance
Time now to have two strikers up front to maximise our attacking options otherwise just keep looking over our shoulders hoping other results go our way
Sadly its the inconsistency in performance that is costing us dearly , and none of those players on show today looked anything like premier league quality

On the evidence of today, will we fuck. Need to pull a performance out against Arsenal now. Once Arsenal Score We have Had it ! Spend All Time in Training Passing Back to Goal keeper We Are Down ! Played Like a Poor Championship Side Today With 4 or 5 Players Having their Worst Games of the Season VLP Useless ! Should have Sold Him To WBA When we had Chance !

some of our players are simply not good enough for the premier league. our lack of depth will now show itself.

No shit sherlock. Everton have spent over 200m this season. And they already had 100m worth of players.

some of our players are simply not good enough for the premier league. our lack of depth will now show itself. This was always going to be the case. The squad that got us into the PL was cheap. A lot of people seem to forget that we were promoted on a negative goal difference. When last season started we were expected to finish in a relegation scrap in the Championship, never mind be playing Premier League football 12 months later. We made some good buys with the PL funds, but our actual "squad" is still only Championship quality for the most part. While our change to our attacking options today was bringing Scott Malone on, Everton had £25 Million Yannick Bolasie on the bench. They had Rooney in the squad, a man with over 200 PL goals, over 300 career goals. Michael Keane was bought for £25 Million. Morgan Schneiderlin was bought for over £20 Million. Walcott was £20 Million. Tosun was almost £30 Million. Pickford was £25 Million. The goal was survival and so far we're on target to meet that goal, against almost every "professional" prediction and expectation. The team that was odds on to be relegated from the Championship one season, could still survive in the Premier League the next season. Another season of PL funds to solidify our position and grow our squad and we should see an improvement in 2019.

I still prefer our position to Stoke, Southampton or Swansea. Been a bad day though.

From a fan who only thinks positive NO Keep the faith Wagner will pull something out of the bag remember the playoffs Jim, with the exception of Man Utd at home, we have no-showed against the best sides in the division. Beaten before we walked on the pitch. Thus I am really struggling to see how all of a sudden that will change and we can get even a goal from the last three games never mind a point.

Looking at the run in
Southampton have Everton away ,Swansea away and Man City home
Feel Swansea will go above us as will beat Stoke h plus point v Southampton h
The Everton away game is a must loose game for Southampton for us to be in with a REALISTIC CHANCE of survival , as feel they will get no more than 2 points from their final two games against Swansea a and Man City h ie both draws putting them on 34 points
This is just looking over our shoulders as the Arsenal game could decide towns fate, and feel we have to at least score a goal which is even more worrying

Carvalhal won't let them over the half way line and Stoke got a decent result today at Anfield.

Yes. Said for months 35 points would be enough. It will be. But not with our goal difference.

For me WBA and Stoke are down, that leaves 4 teams for the final spot, Southampton, Swansea, us, and West Ham

We are clueless when it comes to scoring goals. That's 19 games without scoring and potentially 22. So unless the next three are all nil - nil draws we don't get our magical three points. If Wagner is still with us next season he should look at getting help from an attack minded coach.

On today's showing Saints could beat Swansea, Swansea could beat Stoke (who will be down by then) how will 35 points be enough then. Swansea could get 2 draws to have the same result thinking about it.

BHA fan here. Not been in for a while. Just to add my view. I think you’re safe on 35pts. Can’t see you going down even though your last 3 games are as tough as ours. Swansea or Southampton will follow the long ball hoofers of stoke and wba down to the championship. Look forward to playing you again next season. Good luck........I believe you’re already safe

I think it's now between us and swansea, southampton will pull clear..the fact swansea have to play stoke and soton might work in our favour if the results before that go right..Our problem is the same as it always has been ..we can't score goals, and gift goals at he other end... playing the likes of Quanar shows how short we are of quality...he was dreadful today, . Schindler though was immense, again.

Swansea will lose today and still have to play both Southampton and Stoke. All 3 will throw everything at it, particularly if does go down to the final game of the season, and take points off each other. Southampton's other two games are Everton away, Man City at home. Everton aren't a push over as we've just seen and Man City will be pushing for the record points total. Stoke have to play a Palace that's playing like a top 6 side along with Swansea. Swansea's "other" game is Bournemouth away, another side who aren't exactly a push over. I think we're already safe on 35 if Swansea lose today. A point or more from the last 3 games is just icing on the cake. Everton look a very easy team to beat, much worse than Watford were. 100% bullcrap. Everton are twice the team Watford are.

Does anyone here think that Southampton won’t beat that Everton team we played today?
I do. I also think they’ll beat Swansea.
But I think Swansea will beat stoke.
That would put us second bottom.

It's just too tight to call. 35 points might be enough but not with our goal difference. Can't see another point coming our way. We could still be playing now and not scored. It is a bad day for us. Could have been worse though. Stoke could have got an unlikely winner and Swansea could have turned Chelsea over. Now that would have been a mare of a day! Instead of just 'been in the shit' as we are now, we could have been chin deep in it. Today was coming, as we've been lucky with our rivals results for a couple of weeks now. It had to go against us at some point.

No it won’t. Stoke have 2 games left. You think Swansea will beat Stoke. If you are correct then Stoke can only get to 33 points. Fact. You also said you don’t think Southampton will beat Everton - read it again.

And it will only get worse over the next few games. I firmly believe we'll need to get something from the Arsenal game now.
