Hope to sign Ya Ya Toure, still quality. Hi Few years ago maybe but would not have the legs needed to play in current system ,have a feeling that Uncle Yaya willend up at Celtic with his brother His wages are £220,000 per week, I think we'll give that one a miss. Though he says that he will give 50% back if the club who sign him says that he is crap! Do we want to risk £110,000 per week on potential crap! |

Lowe was exceptional today Put some great crosses into the box. The three centre halves mean he wasn't as exposed as earlier in the season. Really pleased he seems to have resurfaced. The team seems more balanced with him lb rather than Kongolo at left side of defence. Kongolo is superb but I see him more as a left sided central defender |

The team seems more balanced with him lb rather than Kongolo at left side of defence. Kongolo is superb but I see him more as a left sided central defender Exceptionally average. He's a clean ball striker but his crosses are near enough never dangerous in reality. Doesn't have the pace/flair to beat a man or the passing/movement to create an opportunity in another fashion so he just takes a touch and whips it in for Mounie/Depoitre to half-heatedly compete for. Gets nice shape on his crosses and they look good aesthetically but essentially just highlights a lack of creativity, probably done lots of crossing repetition in his career and not enough combination play and 1vs1 domination. If the opposition full back is positioned correctly 9/10 the cross will hit him. Lowe only has option a) touch out of feet and whipped cross or b) pass back spare man. Creativity is our key area for improvement and as Malone has flopped/Kongolo going back hopefully we'll sign another LB. As mentioned above, decent squad player to fill in when required like he has done recently. |

Good to see Lowe back in the team and playing well against the big boys. Was one of my favourite players when we got promoted from the Championship. Thought both he and Malone looked better playing with a back 3

How the West Ham player didn't get booked for that I will never know. Clearly took him out.
It's a real shame as he's looked great this season. It also means that Flo needs to step up big time whilst Durm is on the left.

If there weren't all the other posts speculating there are problems would you have drawn that conclusion from the interview? He said it was tough at present but there have been good times (up until we were doomed) and now everyone is down. I'm not sure where you got the bit about "only for the second half of the season things have changed"? He said the main problem was we've not scored enough goals for the two years we've been up and this sounds to be a bit of a mental thing with the squad from his comments “At one point after not scoring, it will stay in your head. You will not then get it out, even when you leave the training ground". I didn't see any insinuation that there has been a downturn in his mood specifically since the new manager came in? |
