As mentioned on another topic, doesn't seem all is well with Siewert.. "We had one and a half great years in the Premier League" we've been losing all year but only for the second half of the season things have changed.. If there weren't all the other posts speculating there are problems would you have drawn that conclusion from the interview? He said it was tough at present but there have been good times (up until we were doomed) and now everyone is down. I'm not sure where you got the bit about "only for the second half of the season things have changed"? He said the main problem was we've not scored enough goals for the two years we've been up and this sounds to be a bit of a mental thing with the squad from his comments “At one point after not scoring, it will stay in your head. You will not then get it out, even when you leave the training ground". I didn't see any insinuation that there has been a downturn in his mood specifically since the new manager came in?But he did say ....
“This has meant me having two-and-a-half great years at the football club. It is just the last four months that have been really hard and really tough for everyone.”
I appreciate that he could have meant nothing by it at all, but obviously the interview was planned, he knew what he was going to say. Why not say '' The whole season has been really tough....'' etc.
Just saying.

Possibly because until January they thought they could turn it around as they were playing ok and losing. But when Wagner threw the towel in instead of getting better it's pretty much stayed the same in results terms.

Probably because it was only from mid December onwards that the players started to lose belief they could turn the results around and the constant defeats started to take a toll. Clearly DW wasn’t happy at the time either so that can’t have helped him keep the players going.

In a german article he alludes to how good ourvfans were but hecsays the difference is in germany they do much more rhythmic clapping and stamping in the stands all the game.

Many of us will have had changes of Managers where we find the transition to a new way of doing things / personality / approach etc difficult to adjust to.
It's part of life, you just have to knuckle down and accept it. Don't see why footballers should be any different.

Anyway, how do you know about this?

Löwe's first game for Dynamo Dresden is Nuremberg at home on July 28. Pity Dresden is only just down the road from me, now. Was going to try and catch him in action for the first game at home, but no chance of getting a ticket for that one. Ah well!

The worst are those that stay, bitch and moan, but don't do anything constructive about it.
