Don’t laugh . Personally I’d keep him. A good wildcard sub Me too, as pointed out he has more assists, just through hard graft and persistence. Not sure letting Ince and Quaner go are good moves.

Exactly Coddy, We have some small minded fans. Why is that then? I think he was talking about himself with him having a tiny mind 😉😂

How many assists did he and ince have? Think it was about 5 from memory between them and 0 goals Quaner, 2 ince? With the amount of game time they both had that's a poor return especially if you have them both on the pitch at the same time. We didn't score enough goals last year and stats like that are the reason why. I liked ince and quaner but jusy not effective or good enough. We need better quality. Hopefully/ surely the plan is to get another winger in and we will be a much stronger first 11 and squad than last year.

Anyone who actually goes away will have seen Quaner at Barnsley where he was absolutely quality and was arguably his best game in a blue and white shirt he did everything except score. That season Barnsley has a strong season and had a great record at home so they were no push over then either. Signing for Preston would be a great move for him and fairly local too. If he goes I wish him good luck and will cherish the memories he made with us

He is a certainly a target man - our wanker element have targeted him for abuse since his first game for us.

Dominant all game and scored if I recall correctly.

Are we all telling a few porkies in case Preston’s recruitment team have a gander on here.
Preston fan. He is our worst player. If he moves to you I have no doubt he will have some good performances in the championship equalled by some absolutely terrible ones.
Unfortunately a good few of our supporters can’t move on and thinks the sun shines out the arse of every player that touched the ball in last years promotion season so won’t have a bad word said about them.

I genuinely fear for Quaner moving to another club in England
He kind of got away with being so crap here early doors because we were having such a good season which no one had expected. He struggled to even do the most basic of things but still popped up with the crucial goal against Preston and huge assist against the massive. That said, he still had games like Barnsley away where he looked like he could be a player
Last season he did improve his touch and general game but it was still short of what is needed at this level. But again he did pop up with some vital assists
Moving to another club over here will carry a lot more pressure than he had when he came here. They are signing a 'Premier League' player and will not be expecting someone who struggles to control a football. How easy will they go on him compared to how Town fans have made him a bit of a cult figure. He also won't have loads of other Germans and his best mates around him like he's had here. I think he would be better off moving back to Germany

Everyone knows Quaner is not a premier league player but for what we paid for him he has been great. As much as you Want to moan about him he got the most assists out of all our wingers last season and also what’s wrong with remembering his good performances and times with us...🤔

Good player for me - touch is hit and miss but he’s quick, very direct and strong. Will give most Championship full backs a hard game. Always gives 100% and never hides from the ball
Seems a good type in the dressing room as well
Brought in to give us impetus to get over the line for promotion and helped do that - at Sheff Weds he altered a game we were losing and bluntly saved our season!
Been a good signing and I can only wish him well if moves on

Don’t laugh . Personally I’d keep him. A good wildcard sub I agree to an extent but in championship! I like the guy, reminds me of Iffy Onoura. If he gets a regular start in the championship I'd expect him to do well.

A winger, not a target man - despite his height he's crap in the air.
Massively unpredictable in both a good way and a bad way. Defenders have no idea what he's going to do with his feet, because even Quaner doesn't know. Will trip over his own legs one minute, then put in a defence splitting pass the next. Makes the difficult things look easy, but also makes the easy things look difficult.
He'll frustrate the hell out of you, and occasionally delight you.

This is as perfect an assessment as you will get and that is why he is loved by the romantics and ridiculed by the heartless.

The consensus was we needed at least 1 winger, probably 2. We got 2 in, and now we're letting 2 go. 3 I guess if you count Scannell.
Sobhi, Diakhaby, Kachunga, VLP. 1 injury or suspension and once again we're looking very short. Surely we have to bring another in?

As the game against Stoke showed, he can also trip over his own legs, nutmeg a defender and provide an assist on a plate all at the same time. That 1 piece of play summed him up perfectly.

If you ever get a crucial penalty in the 95th minute he is usually quick to the rebound.... Or are in need of a supersub who comes on in the last 15 mins, and would single-handedly be responsible for clawing you level in an away semi final play off, which otherwise you would have lost...….Big Coll's yer man! The goal was made by Izzy Brown's pass. Let's not kid ourselves

That's not Quaner's song. He knows Yes he does. He's been desperate for attention on this thread since he got a ticking off for belittling the OP and PNE.
He's finally got what he wanted, but probably is in bed sucking his thum by now.

He's a league one player.Lovely guy by all accounts but I really don't get this love in that certain people have. Would any other Premier League side have him anywhere near their squad ? Move on, I wish him well
