There was a spell last year, probably about 3/4 games, where he was playing really well. He was the only one of our wingers that chose to run directly at defenders and often they don't know how to deal with that.
As said, not the most technically gifted but I enjoyed his speed on the ball and direct style at times.
Arguably offered more than any other town winger last season.

Interested to see how he got on elsewhere, could be brilliant or awful, not sure there would be an in-between

Class and a legend too good for you tbh Nick, at times you are a huge embarrassment to yourself. At some other times you are a huge embarrassment to all decent Town fans on here. This is one of those, what need was there for that comment? Why may I ask? I really rate him, he was top for assists, he made the goal that took us to penalty shot to get to play off final! So be quiet!

I like him. Big, strong and fast. No defender would relish facing him. Can look a little ungainly at times but his stats don’t lie. More assists than Fabregas and several other top players last season despite playing far fewer minutes. Get him full of confidence and he can go from looking like Carlton Palmer on the flank to Thierry Henry in the blink of an eye.

Let's nor turn in to Billy big balls just cos we've hit the jackpot Preston are a good club.. Similar profile to us.. Be respectful to everybody on the way up.. If will be remembered on the way back down. Anyroad super col will always be a terriers legend because of the part he played in our resurgence. He's half baby giraffe.. Half German cyborg.. Good luck col😁

Got to say Coddington, I’d be happy to see him go. Free up wages etc. Col was, and I guess will be, iconic to some fans. For or me he’s a clown wearing a blue and shirt. Nuff said.

He isn't good enough for our current level of ambition, but I will be sad to see him go.
At the end of the day some fans love him, some think he's useless but even the haters have to acknowledge that if it weren't for his cross into the box against the massive, we wouldn't be where we are.

He's not the greatest player to wear blue & white but he played a big part getting us promoted & got more assists than any other player last season in probably half the minutes, calling him a clown is really disrespectful. Nuff said.

A lot of billy big bollox that joined the site when we got to the premier league.
Ask yourself if we would have been happy signing colin 3 years ago when we were a financially poor championship team and I reckon to a man we would have been made up. The fact is our players are generally £10M plus players so colin at 750k-1.25M isnt going to be of a standard we need, but hes worth what we are asking in this market, without doubt.

Sorry but his haters are fucking idiots, end of. Check his stats if you can read you half wits. Extremely effective forward with a great attitude. His attributes have already been well documented on here. A target man he is not. His legend status at our club is guaranteed, he has more than played his part in our unprecedented success both in the Championship and Premier League. Would be a great signing for any championship team but just don't expect him to win more than one header per season. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

Splits opinion amongst Town fans - factually, I think he averages 2 goals a season throughout his career. Had a marvellous 16 minutes against Wednesday when he came on as sub and that has given him legendary status - helped get us to Wembley.
Has had 4/5 assists whilst he's been here, at least 2 deliberate.
A likeable character yes/ a good footballer no (for me).
NOT a powerful front man, as has been said - first touch poor, heading ability non-existent (not a problem cos I don't think I've ever seen him deliberately head a ball.

Few rumours at our end we're in for Quaner. We've been after a target man all summer, the manager wants somebody who's big, strong and mobile. What's he like? He's nothing like a target man mate.
