He is a beautiful beast of a man, works like a dog, never gives up and has a great attitude. I know he will do a job for you and then some.

Away from Nick, where exactly is this 'love in'? There's pretty much no one suggesting he is good enough for our team, if not match day squad, 2hen everyone is fit, just some of us cheesed off with the distinct lack of class and humility. You can suggest he ain't the requisite quality without being a dick about it. The Preston fan asked an honest question, whats the point in beating around the bush. Its the norm to take the piss out of your pals, colleagues, family or pretty much anyone else for that matter. But anyone in a town shirt. How dare you. Look at it this way. If we new what we no now about quaners quality and playing ability as fans we would not of been happy with the signing. And thats including when we were in the championship. I hope he turns into a beast for you Mr Preston fan. His attitude is bang on but at the end of the day, he isnt very good.

Quaner was one of a number of players brought in at Championship level. He has never given less than 100% and at Championship level he will hold his own. David Wagner trusted him in some very tight spots, like his sub appearance and assist at Hillsborough, and I would trust Wagner over all the armchair managers who post on here. I hope he becomes a legend at Preston if that is where he goes.

Sorry if I've missed something, but where does it say that Quaner has gone to Preston ?? It's rumour mill and a Preston fan came on here, having heard they may be signing him, to see what we thought. Nothing concrete.

For the majority of the time, Quaner does not have a clue what he is going to do but neither does the opposition defender. He can go from looking like Gareth Bale to Malvin Kamara in the blink of an eye.
It will be interesting to see how he performs in the Championship playing on the wing on a consistent basis as he wasn't really given a go in that position until the play-offs. I hope it works out for him as he gave 100% and maximised every limitation he had. He isn't a better player than Ince (who has gone for ÂŁ10m) however he was a lot more effective last year and provided a good out ball when playing away from home.
Super, super Col, super, super Col, super, super Col, Super Colin Quaner!

He is very affective in what he does, just give him time to suss out it is.

He was always pretty good at tracking back too and, if he got the ball back there, he could look fairly majestic getting forward, like a daddy longlegs finding an open window. I hope we get an opportunity to applaud him on his return, with that being PNE in the Prem (if it happens).

He's one of those players where if our young un wants me to open her hula hoops, I'll either say pass em here, or (if Collins got the ball), hang on a minute babe. He's like matt le tissier crossed with bambi on ice. He is a cracking signing for Preston should you get him, 110%effort every game.

Totally wrong of course or he wouldnât of played for Town ! âWouldnât haveâ man. Would not have. What the fuck does âwouldnât ofâ mean. Iâm not meaning to be horrible but itâs basic junior school English. I know thereâs the Yorkshire accent and way of saying it sounds like âwouldnât ofâ but itâs the Yorkshire way of pronouncing â âveâ the abbreviated âhaveâ not âofâ âWouldnât ofâ is not a sentence and doesnât mean anything. English teachers in he country need to collectively hang your heads in shame. Now multiple generations of people coming out of school unable to write basic sentences. Iâm sure like Helathcare there are multiple complex issues including a terrible lack of funding but where are the base standards? Who is making a stand to day kids should leave school with basic literacy and numeracy. Mind you theyâve seemingly given up everything but the absolute basics of care in hospitals. Itâs time the country looked again at its state funded systems because the decay has set in and standards are shocking.

I believe our results against Preston in the promotion season were lost 3-1 away and won 3-2 at home. I think the difference in those results can be attributed to the fact that Colin played in the second game but not in the first.

Are you one of our precious and inept teachers? Letâs start with sentences and go from there. No, I'd hate to be a teacher in this country, it's a thankless task. Not that it's relevant, but I work as a medical doctor, my alma maters are currently ranked as the top two universities in the world. If I write a post criticising someone else's use of the English language, I try to make sure my own post contains no errors. I see that you haven't gone to the same lengths. What was it you said about standards, again?

Now multiple generations of people coming out of school unable to write basic sentences. Looks like you came out of school unable to use a comma, unless they've left teaching you that until after the summer holidays? I would suggest â..people ARE coming...â would be more useful than a comma. You might then argue that you could / should bob a comma in after âNowâ and Iâd probably agree. I also think that part of your reply could be constructed better - âtheyâve left teaching you thatâ would be much nicer as âtheyâve left teaching that to youâ. OK, Iâm bending over waiting to be critiqued, get on with it!đ
