Where are the chuckle brothers playing now? I can't even be arsed wasting my time googling ! Mbenza lasted only a few months in Qatar leaving in January 2022 and has since signed for Charleroi in Belgium on a 3 month contract in March. Can't find exact match stats but basically done nothing but pocket two signing bonuses. Diakhaby is a bit more stable, joined Amiens in Ligue 2 in Feb 2021. Played 12 times this season. Scored and assisted nothing. Obviously both tearing it up across Europe

Re-signing if we make it back to the PL. As ball boys?😂😂 Bit under qualified to be ball boys as you have be able to stop a football and pass/give to a player.

God I hate when this thread gets revived, always think we're signing one or both back!
Irony being I've just re-revived it 😂

I will put my left bollock on the line here. Diakhaby and Mbenza will both be class for us. How's life with just one bollock?

Never ever forget the Forest fan , after watching Diakhaby’s debut:
“It was like watching a greyhound trapping a balloon “

Mbenza did have a decent brief spell for us at one stage, think it was early in CCs reign here.
I stand by that IM did more for us than Sabiri or Sobhi ever did

Diakhaby without the pace wouldn’t get into most Sunday league teams

I'd think of what they must have both cost us in transfer fees, signing bonuses and wages but it would make me too mad...

That's what I understand too, so he was effectively a non-event. For me, when considering outlay and contribution, the worst signings are Diakhaby and Pritchard. Arguably Kongolo is up there before Mbenza, if we ignore his performances on loan. Waa a ridiculous amount, especially when you consider we primarily played him out of position at LB.

Sobhi wasn't that disastrous a signing - we made our money back on him.
