Diakhaby bench warming at Amiens in French second tier.

Where are the chuckle brothers playing now? I can't even be arsed wasting my time googling ! Mbenza lasted only a few months in Qatar leaving in January 2022 and has since signed for Charleroi in Belgium on a 3 month contract in March. Can't find exact match stats but basically done nothing but pocket two signing bonuses. Diakhaby is a bit more stable, joined Amiens in Ligue 2 in Feb 2021. Played 12 times this season. Scored and assisted nothing. Obviously both tearing it up across Europe  |

Diakhaby without the pace wouldn’t get into most Sunday league teams |

I'd think of what they must have both cost us in transfer fees, signing bonuses and wages but it would make me too mad... |

That's what I understand too, so he was effectively a non-event. For me, when considering outlay and contribution, the worst signings are Diakhaby and Pritchard. Arguably Kongolo is up there before Mbenza, if we ignore his performances on loan. Waa a ridiculous amount, especially when you consider we primarily played him out of position at LB. |

Sobhi wasn't that disastrous a signing - we made our money back on him. |
