If these figures are correct it’s a massive relief that we can look forward to decent crowds again next season. Makes you proud to be a Town Fan - the good times are always more special when you’ve been through the bad times and we’ve certainly had that this season! We all know the difference our superb fans can make and I for one cannot wait for next season!

You're absolutely right. Caretaker at work is retiring next month - he's very happy that his Notts Forest season ticket is now only going to cost him £290 because he gets the OAP rate. Careful he doesn't retire you if he reads that! I do it deliberately, just because I know it winds them up

My comment was based on their initial figures. 16500 is good, let's hope the club match the fans investment by investing in a squad capable of an immediate return. Considering the piddling amount you've invested in your season ticket, are you sure you only expect them to match it? What I meant to say is a million times my 249 quid in team strengthening.

If we can pickup players like Grant for that money,we don't need to spend squillions, we need players who will gel together as one unit...the prima donna's we've had at £10m+ have well and truly had our pants down....lesson learned I hope..

Thats excellent news. Big tonic for the club when they really need it. Think people realise that this relegation isn't the end of our journey and it will hopefully be one step back to take 2 steps forward. correct and it makes some on here the merchants of doom look silly. well done town fans

16500 sold if the maximum we can sell is 18000. Excellent figures Don’t understand how the total available can be 18000 given 24100 capacity less 2400 visitors and circa 1600 ‘on the day’ tickets. I make that around 20100 available so 18600 already sold?

Theres a lot of corporate seats in top tier of Revel Ward upper, Directors box, media seats and the small end sections at the south ends of Revel Ward and Britannia aren;t sold. Then they keep some back for promotions etc. I reckon the max available is about 19000, which might mean weve sold about 17500 already and the waiting list still haven;t had their chance yet, never mind general sale. I don;t think we'll be far off selling out completely, if at all. Fantastic response after such a miserable season.

He also said today they should release the total number of ST sold by the end of the month.

My comment was based on their initial figures. 16500 is good, let's hope the club match the fans investment by investing in a squad capable of an immediate return. Ignoring junior and student reduced prices would mean 16500 x £249 = £4,108,500 maximum income from season cards sales. I am quite sure that if we ONLY spent that - you, for one - would be complaining!

I've no idea but could the figure he quotes mean Sean Jarvis is assuming all those on the waiting list he mentions regularly will be buying one ??

They could have decided to cap the amount of season tickets at any amount they choose or market it as they are doing without obviously saying a figure. Its a marketing ploy and no coincidence the mentioning numerous figures apart from the actual amount sold. That figure will be released in the end but they won’t rush into it, it’ll be when they aren’t going to sell anymore.
If people choose to renew or not thats their choice. I have done but ain’t concerned if others choose not to.

Considering the piddling amount you've invested in your season ticket, are you sure you only expect them to match it? I think arterriers giving his blessing for us to invest much less than every other club in the championship does, being as thats what we fans do with our £249 season cards. I would be quite happy to sign on for Town for a fee of £249 , that's if any Town officials read the board. However my right ankle is a bit crocked as well as my left Knee , I would be a cheap option though, I could be Towns first Poundland type player to be signed. P.S. I have just turned 58.

Seriosly mate how can you have the cheek to demand investment when our outgoings have been running in the red for the last how many years? If you want to base your expectations on season card sales you should be happy with a 4th from bottom finish.

well done town,i got my season card moved with no hassle at all. From where to where if you don’t mind me asking? My old man wants to move from the south stand as he can’t stand up for long durations of time anymore. I was wondering what seats are available? In case of interest I was shown availability in Riverside upper yesterday lunchtime and there was a lot of empty seats to choose from. I was looking for 5 together which I knew was a stretch but they could actually cater for that albeit on the back row. There were a lot of 2s and 3s available throughout all blocks of that stand.

Many thanks for that info , I am wanting to sit in the Riverside lower, but just need a season card for myself, after reading your thread I am a little more confident of getting a decent seat.

As above, great numbers. I make that 1140 didn't renew (based on 19k last year), so an extra 360 or so STs available on last year.
So much for struggling to shift 15k as some thought.

All jokes aside, people guessing how many we would sell and all that rubbish, 94% is absolutely superb. Will be back to a great atmosphere again next season...until we lose our first 3 😂😂

I spoke to a person on my lunch in the park and she casually mentioned her husband and 5 friends were on the waiting list last year and were all taking up any offer to get a card this year. Seems we will be close to matching last year's figures if these random figures are representative of pent up demand. Utft we will rise again!

For reference....
L666s United's last Premier League season average attendance 36,119, the next season in the Championship 28,814 or a retention rate of 77.8%
Sadford's last Premier League season average attendance 18,511, the next season in the Championship 15,488 or a retention rate of 83.7%

For modern reference have you any figures for West Brom, Stoke and/or Swansea?
