Just read in the Unexamined Sean’s piece on the personal abuse hes been getting. Unfortunately I can’t put the link on but if there’s anyone on here guilty of such shite you should be ashamed of yourselves.
The man works non stop for our club and has always been approachable. If you can’t converse in s grown up civil manner then keep your mouths shut.
Rant over

He gets on my tits a bit but why would anyone verbally abuse him? Honestly? Why? Is it his fault we've been crap this season? No. Bizarre.

Along with most clubs, we have our fair share of retards unfortunately. Hopefully some of them will drop off when we are relegated.

Since I don't and never will read the Examiner, what has been said? The Examiner is a good local paper, one of the best in my opinion. A lot of local papers are disappearing or going weekly. Local papers are part of the fabric of a healthy community. It'll be a shame when/if it disappears.

Because the last time I read it , it was not fit to wrap chips. And also about 80p.

Then printed in Oldham and a day late Then the Mirror group to a magazine style really. Now a sad, mashed up format for cheap advertising. When it puts in stories from Leeds Court that are not local and repeats a story about a vintage truck show for 30 days straight you know its over. Even the spelling and grammar these days give the game away. It not even an arse-wipe rag.

Not surprised he gets on your tits considering what a positive bloke he is. There's positive and cringing cartoon positivity. Jarvis is the latter. If he was in the trenches beaming with positivity, sadly, I'd have put a bullet in his head after day one.

You'd probably be too busy moaning about the quality of the gun that you'd forget to pull the trigger, in fairness.

Nice bloke. Shame about the shit dog but hey, shit pig next year. I'll snipe if I think things are wrong but that's different to proper abuse. He's played a big part in the Club building to where it is. Like it or not corporate is massive now.

I swear since we got promoted, the amount of idiots in our fanbase has gone up dramatically... Large increase in members of the general public will always see a sharp increase in the amount of complete fuckwits. Most of them abusing him will have no idea what role he actually does for the club.

Top bloke is SJ, me and my boys met him coming out of the bar after the playoff final and had a decent chat with him about the future of town, genuinely you couldn’t meet a nicer bloke.

I haven’t met one guy who was/is associated with Town that I haven’t liked. Met Sean Jarvis many times, great guy to talk to, very open, interesting, helpful. He helped get the son of a mate of mine who is studying at Hudds Uni an internship with the club, he’s helped out Southern Terriers. Nice guy. Tracy Nelson, Sue Beaumont .... lovely ladies.
Met Nigel Clibbens a few times as well. Again, very open and friendly, same goes for Ross Wilson, Julian Winter, Dean Hoyle and his lad, Andy Booth and others. All humble, interesting guys that you can have a conversation with. Met Stuart Webber briefly only once but I’ve got to know his father-in-law well enough to have a drink with him occasionally at Sutton United.

Those that are positive in the hypothetical trenches are usually crying on the inside. Next time I see him, I going to give him a big hug. In fact, next time I see any of you lot, I'm going to give you all a big, lingering and slightly unnerving hug. Yes Peco, I'm a fucking perv!

Great fella is Sean. Too much tanning product but I won't hold that against him we dragged each other around P4P1 when we were the only 2 on mountain bikes and lagging at the back...and he still stayed positive

Hes everything the club would want in his role. Approachable, friendly and happy to take the time to respond. Id bet the fans of clubs like Man utd, Liverpool, etc couldn;t imagine the same from their version of jarvis.
Sadly i think theres some truth to the idea our quota of nob heads has gone up a lot since getting to the prem. They can't tolerate failure because as 'Town fans' all theyve known is success. One consolation of going down is most will lose interest again.
