I must be the only one that thinks Bacuna was a bit of a liability at RB. Can't fault the effort though.

Actually, 11 points isn't a lot when you think about it...

Well done, fully deserved victory. Our two worst performances this season have been against Huddersfield, but at the same time I have to say that you fully deserved both victories and played well in both matches. Frustrating for us and in a way I'm sure it is for you. Maybe the big escape has just started. No mate, not even we believe that.

I must be the only one that thinks Bacuna was a bit of a liability at RB. Can't fault the effort though. For a cental midfielder playing out of position against a speedster I thought he did magnificently but long term its not where he'll be the biggest asset to us.

Unable to go tonight, but managed to watch most of the second half online. When Mounie missed that easy header and then curled a shot just wide I thought, "Here we go again", but then we finally get a bit of luck in the box and Big Steve is in the right place at the right time.
Looked a decent performance from Town tonight, so well done everyone. Its been a long time coming, but we've finally won a game and got the result our general performance deserved. It won't prevent our inevitable relegation, but it shows we aren't as out of our depth as many portray us to be.
What a night!

Schindler being back to his best was a big factor tonight.

Did anybody notice that in the attack where Mounie just put it past the post near the end we had about 4/5 players busting a gut to get into the area. Fantastic, roll on Saturday! Yeah Mole Smooth 13 posts up

Can someone change the thread title please? Maybe to something like, "No matter how shit we are, we always beat the Wolves"?

How did the young lad Demeaco Duhaney do, and why was he subbed at HT? Right decision?
Pleased for everyone connected with Town tonight. Wish I’d been there!

What a pleasant change to feel contentment after a recent Town game, plus a post match thread with every post positive. A great effort by the whole team, and you could see what it meant to JS. I shall go to bed happy. UTT

I thought he looked composed, good on the ball, speedy, determined and a prospect Chris. Everything Flo isn't. DD could prosper next season and hopefully plays more this season too.

With the ball I thought he looked quite good. His anticipation of what the attacker is going to do isn't there yet though - they got in a few times around the back where he seemed a bit flat-footed.

Sounds daft, but has anyone got any clips of the goal? At last, a ball that fell kindly for us, a good run from Mooy setting it all up... Scruffy goal, but who gives a feck... The reaction of the players and coaches is the best part of this. For some reason the sound has conked, probably my PC... But just looking at that, even in silent mode, it looks like a single goal (that's hardly likely to have a material impact), has an impact on a mentality that's hard to fathom. It looks to mean more to those players than any one of the 100+ goals that Man C have scored this season... There will be the usual after-timers on here tomorrow, posting how average we were/are etc. etc. droning on like the miserable told you so brigade do..., but you cannot beat the raw emotion of supporting your home town team, absolutely in the deepest of ruts, pulling off a victory that defies the experts... We won't win any awards, it will hardly register on any highlights programmes. But by fuck, was that victory so sweet tonight!!!

I must be the only one that thinks Bacuna was a bit of a liability at RB. Can't fault the effort though. I agree, but the work rate and desire was there. When they did get behind he always got back and snuffed the danger out. Not sure I want him diving in like that much more round our box though with these refs!

Well done town tonight. Enjoyed that - a fully committed high intensity performance and some great displays from some of our younger players giving hope for next season. Well done Jan!

Did OK, if anything was slightly disappointed that we didn't sub him after a few mins of the 2nd half as I expect it would have been nice for the lad to get some applause walking off the pitch. Certainly did enough to warrant selection again though...

Amazing what 3 points does to opinions, don't think we were any better tonight than we have been on a lot of occasions this season, difference is we got that one bit of luck, and the referee's shit performance fortunately didn't effect the result.
