How did the young lad Demeaco Duhaney do, and why was he subbed at HT? Right decision? Pleased for everyone connected with Town tonight. Wish Iβd been there! I thought he looked composed, good on the ball, speedy, determined and a prospect Chris. Everything Flo isn't. DD could prosper next season and hopefully plays more this season too. He let their winger get the best of him three times... if that was Flo some would be saying, " he should never play for Huddersfield Town again". This doesn't bother me, still very young. What was superb was Siewert's appraisal of him after the game, basically saying that he will be very good, and we'll look after him. Encouragement from the boss must give him plenty of confidence.

everybody still buzzing this morning ?
That's more like the Town we know and love...and we can improve on that too I think.. 8 changes and took a while to settle down but play that team again a couple more times and we could pick up a few more wins. It would be brilliant to get amongst Brighton on Saturday..we might even move off the bottom of the league..
My confidence in Jan has risen, he seems to be able to get that bit extra from the players and is much more attack minded than any of Deans previous managers. Onwards and upwards !..

It sounds like he got very angry on Saturday after Newcastle and it looks like it might of upset a few people but got the desired reaction. If we see schindy kongolo and drum at the back again with stancovic in front we will always have a chance because it puts an extra man in midfield for us. Thank God for that win yesterday. Thank God

Can someone change the thread title please? Maybe to something like, "No matter how shit we are, we always beat the Wolves"? I think I'll just leave it for posterity. If your thread title is purposefully inflammatory, then you deserve to look silly when it turns to rats! Delighted to look silly... What a foookin brilliant night.. Effort.. Endeavour.. Energy... Desire... Stankovic..well played. Bacuna..gonna be a reyt player. Grant was the star player for me.. Dragged the centre halfs around and made great runs in to the channels. Perfect subs from Jan.. Mooy brought the quality we needed... The crowd grew in volume... Good bantz with the wolves wankers.. But drowned them out last 15 mins.. Would have gone away happy with 0-0.. The winner was the icing on the cake.. Ended up 40 yards from my own seat hugging a complete strangerπ€£ A truly life affirming get the fook in moment!!!!! Utft

Diogo Jota i think it was. Very clever player. I noticed he kept getting in behind Duhaney, probably why Siewert took him off

Loved that break in the 84th minute.....5 Town players bombing forward from the half-way line at full speed all the way to the box. Not seen that since we went up. We rarely saw it before we went up...

some fat wolves knacker was having a go at me and my mates on the way into the south stand. 'have you got your drum wankers' sort of stuff. Anyway i recognised his tatty tracksuit as he was waiting to climb onto a coach as i went down the ramp after the game. Took great glee is running over and screaming 'did you hear the drum ta fat c**t' I saw this and was wondering about the context! Had me chuckling all the way home!

Taking a man on on the outside, early cross, central defenders not set, two strikers in the box. And a gloriously scruffy goal results. Would never have happened under the previous regime.
I honestly thought we wouldn't get another point all season and am delighted to be proved wrong. But when you see how bang average the team in 7th place are it shows what could have been this season.

I enjoyed that last night, from the Steve Kindon being, well Steve Kindon I suppose at Canalside pre kick off, to the game itself and who doesn't love a last minute winner ?

Our next two games are both winnable. We have done ok at Brighton in recent times and hammered Bournemouth at home 12 months ago. If we win those two games we are back in with a chance

Radio 2 played the 5live commentary of the goal, that got the hairs on the back of my next standing up.Bought a couple of papers this morning. Unbelievably, The Mirror gave all the Town players 6 except Grant and Bacuna who they gave 5 to π±. They had Coady as MoM π€ and called the game "a turgid match lacking precision and quality" and that Wolves "were sloppy in possession despite being clearly the more accomplished side but lacking a punch near the penalty box". Simon Bird you are a knobhead sir.

What about this c*** ? πππππ Ha, no idea why people watch this kind of s%%t. Clearly when posting these videos they have to try and make it interesting and its just a reflection of the world we live in, where everything is either the greatest thing ever, or absolute garbage. Wolves have had a great season, losing to us isn't the end of the world but clearly this guy is trying to make it seem like it is, to get more views on his videos etc etc etc.

What about this c*** ? πππππ He might have a different perspective on life when has grown pubes I actually picked up an away ticket on the way to the ground and took the trouble to go to the away end to ascertain if there was a fan who had dropped it .I handed it over to a lady supporter who said she thought it was one of the lads just outside at the end of the queue. I am so glad I did .I am so glad if the fan got in and witnessed win πππ

Indignant / cretinous opposition fans will always be par for the course after wins in this league.
What particularly delights me are the tears of all the mouth-breathers across social media lamenting busted accumulators / Fantasy Football scores.

As poor as we were on Saturday at St James Park, we were good last night. Was extremely pleased to see Durm, Kongolo, Pritch, Billing & Grant in the starting line-up last night. Please, please, no more LDP, Flo or Puncheon unless weβre down to the absolute bare bones.

Just seen the highlights, lovely bit when Siewert and the rest of the bench go as mental as the crowd with the goal celebration, then he breaks free from the huddle to try and instructions to the players but then thinks Oh Stuff it and goes back to celebrate.

Sent this by my daughter who is not a fan but thought I'd like it. She thought the manager was the referee and I pointed out referees are only happy when the opposition score.

Love how the Wolves player just bounces off Bacuna when he goes in the second time. What a tank.
