Said before the game that the team looked to have a nicer balance to it than the team put out against Newcastle. Had pace and aggression up front, bite and composure in the middle and pace at the back. The team that finished tonight's game should be the team to start the rest of the season from now on.

some fat wolves knacker was having a go at me and my mates on the way into the south stand. 'have you got your drum wankers' sort of stuff. Anyway i recognised his tatty tracksuit as he was waiting to climb onto a coach as i went down the ramp after the game. Took great glee is running over and screaming 'did you hear the drum ya fat c**t'

I would play Demeaco Duhaney at right back. I'd also play Kongolo, Billing, Sabiri, Grant and Pritchard if possible. If he picks Flo then I'll turn around and go home. If he starts the same front three I'll do the same. Jan is a good lad. Must have read my post 👍

They're a very strange set of fans. Deluded and entitled.
They also have no songs of their own.

"Tbf, if we had put these and cardiff to the sword, we would be within touching distance of sixth. I've mentioned somewhere before the difference between us, is the top 6 find away of coming home with a win against the lower teams, with 10 men behind the ball."
What a deluded prick. They are miles from the top 6. The lower teams know how to beat them - just flood their midfield and stop them playing. It isn't difficult. They are absolutely toothless when having to play out wide as we've seen twice.
The reason they get points against the bigger sides is because they don't look to stop them so give them space on the counter.

Calming down a little - great win, Wolves had chances & maybe a draw could have been a fairer reflection. However, they were possibly prepared to face a side down its arse and down on its luck, so shaking up the team like that & bringing a little hunger & unknown into the equation caught them on the hop. Wolves are a good side, but on 2 occasions this season we've made them look decidedly ordinary... 3pts - massive monkey off the back, please for JS & I expect wherever DW is this evening, he's done a circuit of his lounge!!! If Wolves had got a draw out of this match I might possibly have given up watching football - Town should have won by more

Come him from work and check the score, gobsmacked! Check line up and makes much more sense, Lowe and Kachunga on the bench. Well done, Jan! Sorry to burst your bubble but Kachunga was on the pitch when we got the winner And looked sharp and willing while he was on, gave us a bit of energy and showed willingness to look forwards rather than back. Ran into a blind alley a bit just before the goal, mind

Town stuck 11 behind the ball and got lucky on the break, apparently.. oh and the celebrations were pathetic. This from Wolves a club that used to get 3000 in a two sided ground with a stand half a mile from the pitch (again for effect) Bank rolled fuckin arrogant tosspots. Can't wait for sugar daddy to piss off and watch them plummet.

Maybe it's because I was always a bit shite! Just watched Stanković's interview on the Town YouTube, he seems an honest lad. Made up for him putting in such a great performance after his nasty injury and the long road back.

Much more like it tonight & a huge improvement all over the pitch from Saturday. We attacked in numbers (where the hell has that been all these months?) and even had shots on goal. Well done Jan & the lads, let’s see if we can show it wasn’t a one-off and go down to Brighton and get something there. Town finally get a win, the white shite lose, both on the eve of my 50th. I’ll take that as an early birthday 🎁

Oh, wait, they're not. Can't even say their recent history is better than ours because it actually isn't. I thought they were poor last night, we should have had 3 at least. Lossl had nothing to do all night. Wolves? Nothing club. Fully expect to take points off a club like them.

The reaction of the players and coaches is the best part of this. For some reason the sound has conked, probably my PC... But just looking at that, even in silent mode, it looks like a single goal (that's hardly likely to have a material impact), has an impact on a mentality that's hard to fathom. It looks to mean more to those players than any one of the 100+ goals that Man C have scored this season... There will be the usual after-timers on here tomorrow, posting how average we were/are etc. etc. droning on like the miserable told you so brigade do..., but you cannot beat the raw emotion of supporting your home town team, absolutely in the deepest of ruts, pulling off a victory that defies the experts... We won't win any awards, it will hardly register on any highlights programmes. But by fuck, was that victory so sweet tonight!!! Indeed. Some highlights here if needed. highlightsfootball.com/video/huddersfield-town-vs-wolves-highlights/

Great win...lets hope we can build on it. No problem for me with Siewert trying new things. 8 changes was it? Presume the Town fans were singing to Nuno Santo... "you are getting sacked in the morning"?

Loved that break in the 84th minute.....5 Town players bombing forward from the half-way line at full speed all the way to the box. Not seen that since we went up.

Woken up still buzzing about last night. Honestly started to believe we wouldn't win another game all season.
Fulham still very catchable even if safety is long beyond us. Be a small feather in Jans' cap if we can manage to finish above bottom. More gutsy displays like that one last night and we've every chance of a few more wins before we leave. UTT.

"you are getting sacked in the morning"? Understandably, like a few recent games the atmosphere was subdued for long spells last night but because we had something to feed off it picked up, with 10 or 15 minutes left Bacuna and Siewert, both more than once urged the crowd to back the team, they did, bottom of the league, no goals, no hope, 1 point from a possible 45 I thought for the last 10 minutes the crowd were a credit to the team and the rest of this league must have been a little envious of that backing. It felt good to be a Town fan again last night, nice to see as well that it's nearly all happy clappers, either long standing ones or new converts that are posting on here. UTT

Can someone change the thread title please? Maybe to something like, "No matter how shit we are, we always beat the Wolves"? I think I'll just leave it for posterity. If your thread title is purposefully inflammatory, then you deserve to look silly when it turns to rats!
