Lopez was a Clark signing wasn’t he? Hamer omg yes. The worst keeper I think I’ve seen at Town- certainly the guy who lost us the most points. A horror show signing that one- not surprising when he’d played 4 games in 3 years though! I’m not really into considering Bojaj and other youngsters because they won’t have been on any serious money unlike Danny. Miller was Clark surely. Majewski yes fair enough was he Robins or Powell? Gobern had a few decent games for Town more contribution that Danny I’d venture. Puncheon definitely- woeful. James and Carroll? Bit part squad men signed in league one or champs for a pittance so I’d question their inclusion. Wages and when signed needs to be considered imo. Id probably agree with all that but i guess you have to take into account finances if you're talking wages. He will be on a lot more than any of those but we had a lot more brass to spend Remind me who james and carroll are? Id happily keep williams if it was on a tiny wage with high appearance fee, but he wouldnt sign the type of contract id want him on. he will be off. Jake Carroll was a young Irish full back. He played a couple of games for us and then we shipped him off to Bury and then Partick on loan. He left to join Hartlepool and is now at Cambridge (thank you Wiki 😁)

James was on loan from Man Utd. I remember one idiot from Man Utd who was stood on back post and watched a corner go straight past him in to top corner James looked alright but he went back to Utd and ended up signing for Wigan Yes he did. But for the sake of me trying to think of 20 players worse than Williams we will just agree he was average 😂😂

Mbenza nowhere to be seen yet he's away with Belgium under 21s on international duty
Surprised we've allowed that when he wasn't even back in full training

Mbenza nowhere to be seen yet he's away with Belgium under 21s on international duty Surprised we've allowed that when he wasn't even back in full training Very interesting and if we tie this in with the original post and some statistical research I did a few years back we may draw some interesting conclusions. The OP questioned the suspicious number of injuries we are/were suffering and queried whether this was due to players genuinely being injured or simply not wanting to play. About 10 years ago, I did a little bit of research on the number of injuries players had and how long they were out and there was a noticeable and statistically significant difference in the number of injuries and the amount of games missed by players dependent on their club’s league position- those clubs bs in less favourable positions had more players out injured and for a longer time than teams in more favourable league positions. A small study but would be interesting if someone looked at a more extended period of time.

We'd have had a greater contribution from a statue. An athletic quick lad but woefully short for this league and at 23 he's not a raw youth anymore either. Please God we don't take up any permanent deal.

I disagree I normally agree with the vast majority of what you post (though I don’t hate the Scousers as much as you do or I once did) but I’d have to say that for 10 million or whatever he’ll cost, we could do so much better.

I hope you are right, but personally if diakhaby and mbenza are our wide options next season we wont be top half. Lots of speed, but no guile and injury prone the pair of em.

First time I heard it was back in 1958 about a certain Denis Law. Never make it I was told, "he's injury prone".

Both have just been unlucky lately with muscle injuries which you can't rush back from. Which makes it even stranger for Mbenza to be allowed out. I'm hoping both will be here next season. We will be far more of a threat with them either side than we would be with Kachunga and VLP

Is this the place where we can talk about our injuries? I've just done my groin and gout is playing up in my little toe. Last week, I got a splinter in my butt cheek. Sounds funny, but painful. I will keep you posted on other injuries/ailments.

Corrected for Mr. Pedant Mr. Pedantic, if you please. Well, pedant is a noun which is a naming word. However if you prefer to be an adjective fair enough.

That sentence reads like you think that laser is a form of "natural" treatment. In Pixies head that is a " natural " treatment . Well it's more natural than the toxic stuff your local GP is forced into prescribing.
